Review of chapter "The Doctor Talks" from Kaleidofox
Review:
And who doesn't just love the Eighth Doctor? There isn't enough of him out there, and it makes me sad.
I really enjoyed reading this. (I read it awhile ago and was just too lazy to log in and review, so I'm doing it now... )I like how you didn't have Buffy automatically trust him from the start like a lot of people tend to do; I think the way you wrote it is much more realistic.
And gotta love gummy candy...

Always nice to get some sweets! Unwanted advice though is often not as popular. Even when needed.
Comments from author:
The problem with unwanted advice is people feel they don't need it. Buffy didn't have the first clue what to do or where to go. As the Doctor said a friendly stranger can help where a friend can't.

*Applauds* BRAVO! Well done! My only question is, which incarnation of the Doctor was it? Eccleston, Tennet, Matt Smith?
Comments from author:
Eight, but if I'm honest does it matter? As with a lot of my short stories there's more going on elsewhere. Buffy isn't the only one to receive a visit and she won't be the last
I'm already working on Xander , Willow, and Angel's meetings.
Thanks , as ever for the review

Review:
The Eighth Doctor's jacket is generally seen as green rather than black, and I don't think he ever wore a scarf- waistcoat and cravat, yes; scarf, not that I recall-, but the central idea of the story's good even if the description doesn't quite fit.
Comments from author:
Well I was looking at the publicity photos on the BBC website as I wrote the description. I guess the lighting threw off the jackets colour and it was more of an ascot than a scarf. ahh well , I think the real problem is I haven't seen the movie for a while. I lost the tape a while ago and I haven't seen it on DVD yet. Thanks for the review Thomas Aka Mountain King
