very interesting concept. I would have e-mailed you, but there wasn't one on your profile. I am very interested in how the Buffy-verse Earth wound up by the Enterprise... and am wondering if you are ever going to get back to this, since it has been over a year!!! Please respond and update soonest.

Nice start, I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. I'm glad you are using the 2009 movie version, the characters are not as fully formed as in the other movies/series, giving more leeway to artistic license.

And Buffy sees Spock and immediately IDs him as different and possibly dangerous. Nice intro. I can't wait to see what happens.

Interesting premise. I see that others have pointed out a couple of inconsistencies in the distances, so I will just stick with the positives. I like the idea of a Buffy/Star Trek Movie xover. Young Kirk, Young Spock, hell, young everyone. Much more kick ass and far less Prime Directive driven than the shows, especially the later shows set in the 23rd century. I can easily see Buffy and Kirk getting it on as well as Faith and pretty much anyone (including Uhuru). I look forward to more.

Not bad - one thought

"Negative, sir. According to these readings, we are close to Earth, when Earth is three billion light-years away." Spock answered.

That puts their position way, WAY outside the Federation.
As an example, the Andromeda Galaxy is 2.5 million light years away.

Might I suggest three thousand light years instead?

In the following -
"On the other side there was another planet almost exactly equal in size to the duplicate Earth, covered in greed and gold swirls."

I think you mean green rather than greed.
Comments from author:
Oops! Hehe, error! I probably didn't catch it because it wasn't misspelled. Stupid mind! *slaps forehead* And three billion light-years is outside the Federation? I was not aware of that. Though I doubt this "Second Earth" would be inside the Federation, as there isn't space-travel in the Buffy-verse. Maybe the Enterprise is on a mission to, you know, expand Starfleet in a non-conquering way. I'm probably going to make a few mistakes when it comes to the Star Trek universe, since I haven't seen all of the episodes. Which is one of the reasons why I'm using the movie instead of the TV series. That, and I wanted everyone to be a bit younger. So it wouldn't be so creepy when I paired one of them with Buffy. But, then again, she dated Angel, and he's, like, hundreds of years older than her. *shrugs* but, oh well! Thanks for reviewing!

This looks like it could be fun.

Two nits:
3 Billion Light Years? Our galaxy is only a hundred thousand across. Maybe one or two hundred might be a better number.

The chiefs engineers name is Montgomery Scott, Scotty is a nick name.

Looking forward to what you do with this.
Comments from author:
Oh, I did not know that our galaxy was a hundred thousand Light Years wide. Well, I just wanted to emphasize that the actual Earth was far away. REALLY far away, so the concept of them coming across it is ubsurd. Thanks for reviewing!
