Review of chapter "Absolution" from BlueEyedBrigadier
I wonder...if Faith recognized Caleb's voice and had an internal "Holy shit!" moment when he appeared as the First's right hand in S7. Cuz he's already been corrupted based on his thoughts - though you write him so well I easily picture Nathan Fillion acting the frak out of this kind of scene ;D - but it's intriguing that Faith is both disdainful and yet still willing to make use of something from her childhood such as Confession in some half-hearted attempt to unburden herself, and that Caleb chooses not to try and force the knife deeper.

Review of chapter "Absolution" from AllenPitt
Kind of a mirror image of Drusilla (while still human) confessing her 'sins' to Angelus. But I think Angelus was better at messing with her. Maybe it comes from not being as crazy as Caleb. Or something.
Comments from author:
Well, Caleb knows he has to bide his time with Faith, and he has the patience Angelus never did, but, yes, I agree totally with your analogy.
Thanks for reading!
