One of the interesting and sickening things about the Marvel universes is the thinly disguised reality. It is upsetting to see / read about someone being dissected alive - unfortunately given the long history of various governments around the world to engage in similar experiments, no matter what their public policies might state, it isn't something anyone should find surprising.

Thank you for allowing us to believe he was completely unaware.

Interesting fic so far, though I admit that I never like reading the part of an X-Men crossover that has the character being experimented on. Though at least you had him kept unconscious the entire time. Can't wait to see what happens with his escape. Hopefully he'll be willing to kill the sickos when he sees the other "subjects" instead of acting like a wuss like some of the other fics. Update again soon!

Hmm, hard to say. On the one hand the torture scenes of Harry in Voldemort's care seemed absurdly gratuitous and didn't seem to add anything to the story except perhaps for the author's self gratification. The "scientific" torture at the hands of the military at least seems to have bearing on the story. The portal scene had bearing. The initial chapter of violent torture? Not really sure how that mattered one bit either way when it came to the story.

Going forward it could be a good story with an immortal Harry in the Marvelverse. Really, it just depends on whether the author has some interesting ideas on how to take it. It seems like it may have some good ideas but it is too early to tell what direction the author is going to take this. Worth following though at least until that can be determined.

This story is making me happy... in my pants. That's really the highest praise I can give.

I'm loving the detail, I don't even mind the flashback scenes/thoughts like I do in most stories, and now I'm expecting adamantium so I'm even more excited!

I'm assuming Wormtail gave Harry his wand?

Marvel Universe, ouch. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire.

All I can say is I hope that Harry's occulency skills can protect his mind from what I think is coming next.

Perhaps Dr Strange can help Harry later on get back to his own universe.
