So sorry to hear about your accident. Hope your recovery is going well. I understand that real life gets in the way of writing, and when RL gets freaky hard, writing is the last thing you want to do. So take care of yourself.

This is a very good story. I'm sorry about your troubles, unforunately life has a way of interrupting the things we love to do. I hope you recover and are up and about soon. I look forward to reading more of your work.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I'm pleased, however with this story, at least so far. A nice, slow opening like this is a perfect entre into a longer fic. You've already got mysteries to solve, people to meet and a nice sense of atmosphere. Bravo.

Ooh, that sounds fairly ominous =) Makes me wish for more too. Anyway, I love that Dawn's not going to turn into a wereleopard, just for the sake of her not being stuck with Anita as her 'Queen'. Thank goodness! I don't if it's me and my not hate, but dislike of Anita, but I really can't stand Anita so far in this... She and her attitude are rubbing me the wrong way I guess. *shrugs* Oh well :-)

I'm loving Micah though... I like that Dawn feels a 'Tara' vibe from him. Also great twist with Nathaniel being the one who originally found her. I didn't see that coming at all! I am a little confused by Dawn's behavior though, why was she so shy, almost submissive around everyone? She always seems to me a dominant personality (she probably gets it from Buffy...) and with living on the Hellmouth and then becoming a Watcher still fighting the Big Bads, why was she acting so submissive, young, almost scared of everyone? Huh. It seems a little weird to me...

Anyhoo, this chapter was fantastic, I'm so glad that you updated! I'm sorry to hear about your RL problems though =( I hope and wish you a full recovery!!!
