Review of chapter "Unpast Tense" from deathgeonous
Review:
You know, I've always had mixed feeling about this part of the series. I mean, while it's good and information filled and probably necessary in the long run for the future of the series, I just plainly didn't enjoy it as much as the other parts. Sorry. Well, thanks for writing this, bye for now.

Not exactly a cliffhanger, but sure left me wanting to know more. Even Anya was humorous ... got to read more.

"Enigma. Buffy is somebody I've never met and I don't think I want to."
Oh My! What a one liner! For that alone you'd get a 10 rating.
Anya is with Enigma? Will others show up? Or just the two of them?
And just for fun, who would win in a spell battle, Willow or Dr. Strange? I think Steven might win on skill and experience, but who is more powerful? Sure the Vishanti are more powerful than Willow but I'm talking personal power not what god/demons they can call on.
Maybe Dr. Strange can train Willow? And I think the good Dr. is single, would our fav Redhead be interested?
Or would Willow be better paired with Clea?
I really want to see where you go with this.
Thanks for the fics.

This story still seems to be incomplete. There are too many strands of the plot that are still open. Why is Anya here? Who erased Buffy's memory? What is the question Anya will find?
Hm. On reflection, maybe Anya isn't the best person to talk up the wonderfulness of Buffy's home dimension. Didn't even play the trump card about a minor sister that she's the guardian of, who needs her (playing a small violin while relating this helps)

Hmmm, strange. But then, Anya is kind of strange... I guess if she gave the whole story then it would be possible for mr mystical to determine that this is the 'heaven' that Buffy was pulled out of... or to check that there is another Buffy still alive in the home-dimension.
Comments from author:
A valkyrie's purpose is to bring slain valorous warriors to valhalla where they fight all day and prepare for ragnorok. I think Buffy counts as a slain valorous warrior.

-- rather abrupt ending, there. Any plans for continuation?

There will be more Anya and Enigma of course. It's just that this section cried out for completion and who was I to deny it?

Jen may just tie him into a Gordian Knot if he sent her away as it would make the pain last longer.

Review:
Surely Sif will allow one of her Valkyries a few decades of R&R? It is Xander she's talking about, after all! Hm, maybe Anya isn't the best for a pep talk on why Buffy should go back to her home dimension. It'd have been a bit harder to turn down if Xander had been the one doing the talking. Or Giles, or Dawn. Or the mailman.
