Oh My! Having just read BOTH stories in the past 12 hours, I must say that I do so hope that you don't take months to give the next chapter to us.
I thought I had read this story before, but the one I read was where Buff was Already through all this and had moved her and Dawnie to Japan (I think it was) and her and Ichigo and the rest were fighting to get into the Serietei (Sorry for spelling) That isn't part of your series so I have no idea who wrote it. Still I really like your story and Hope you keep up with it. I have it on tracking.

Oi, vey. I'm beginning to regret not seeing Season Six before diving into this one. Ah, well. At least Buffy is still able to kick ass and take names.
You DO eventually plan to give Buffy her powers back, right? I mean, maybe not in the next few chapters, but sometime, right?
Also, are you going to introduce Faith to the pair of 11th divison men? Because I get the feeling they'd get along swimmingly...either that, or she'd end up killing Ikkaku.

Yes, she's definitely getting her powers back. The sequel to this wouldn't go so well if she didn't. Faith will be making an appearance... eventually. Still have to cover events of Season 7.
Soon (next five chapters-ish) there are going to be more Shinigami making their appearances.

is Riley married to what's her name yet? I suppose Buffy is so cold towards him because for her it's been decades? In the show she was all upset about him being married... Anyway-- one wonders if he'll still do the "oops I forgot to tell you not to kill it" thing. That was pretty lame. At least B. let them loan her some money --- and boy should she have asked Travers for a salary in "Checkpoint" or what?

Fantastic story. Never would have thought of Ikkadu as a romantic interest but it really works, he's so likeable in that annoying want to smack him on the head way. Also the sibling relationship between Buffy and Yumichika is great. Looking forward to the next chapter

I like the tension between Buffy's 2 sets of friends. Realistic. Hm...some of them could kinda/sorta see the spirit forms, indicating lots of soul strength? If Tara dies, does she end up in Soul Society also? That'd get sticky--imagine it happening as per schedule, Willow freaks out, and heads for Soul Society to try to retrieve Tara...

So, Buffy's back to normal, and the Trio have made their first appearance in the fic. So, it's only a matter of time before Tara gets killed, and Willow goes berserk. Minor plot suggestion: When Willow goes nuts, have her blow Buffy out of her body, back into full Shinigami mode. I've always wanted to see a battle between a pissed-off Wicca and a Slayer Shinigami.
Anyway, great update, and I hope your muse is back to normal, for regular updates!

So what will happen next with the Geek Squad? This was well done, by the way. Please continue. Will Buffy still be hit by the demon that makes her think she's really in an LA insane assylum?
This is the invisibility episode, right? I'm glad you don't bring Spike into this much, can't stand him.

Yeah... There's definitely no Spuffy in this fic. As for the episode, yep it's the invisibility one. Next chapter is being worked on, not sure when it'll be posted.
