I just read this, and it's very intriguing so far. The thing I don't quite get is how Willow can communicate with Mystique, when none of the other possessed people seem to be experiencing the same thing. My guess is that it's either Mystique's powers, or Willow's magic.

And the difference is more a matter of mindset, with Willow's power allowing her to shake off what would normally have been a sort of 'back seat driver' viewpoint when she saw Mystique murder Jonathan.

Okay, I remember reading the first two chapters and loving the fact that you brought Mystique into it. But I can't seem to find a review that I thought I'd made, telling you of that fact. So, I am now. ... telling you that fact. And I'm done.

So, Jono's dead. I always liked him, but I'm far more impressed that you're letting your characters kill somewhat major characters. That can only mean a great story further on.

Ooo, Cordelia put in her place. I like it. I've never had a use for Cordy until she went through A LOT of Character Growth on Angel.

("At least, not as far as the body you've gone and occupied is concerned,") -- Gah! My pet peeve and bane of all Halloween fics. People who dress as generic characters (soldier, ghost, noble-lady, or in this case: themselves as Strigoi) get to look like themselves. People who dress as specific people (Sabertooth, JoJo, various monsters) do NOT look like the bodies they possess. (Though I'd be willing to give you a pass for Raven, as a shapeshifter)

Over all, I certainly liked it.

I like Ravens working on Willow's inner anger over her life of being bullied to persuade her that revenge is justified.

Disappointed that Xander instantly went Uber as he always does in a halloween fic, this time taking Buffy along for the ride, but I can focus mostly on the Willow/Mystique parts, now with added Andrew.

Well, making Xander and company uber merely means that the enemies they face later are that going to be that much more powerful.

And Raven knows exactly which buttons to push to make Willow respond the way she'd like.

I've got chapters for several stories in the process of being finalized at the moment, and I'm not sure which one will be finished first.

I had a shiver of both excitement and anticipation run down my spine when I read the last few lines of your story. I just can not believe Mayor Dick III is going to enjoy his meeting with his noble visitors. I also wonder how your Helloween is going to effect the future of the Standard Buffyverse. I must admit the idea of Cordy as a pet to the Count and Countess Lavel amuses me.
