So no super-Xander here. He sees but lacks the experience to know what he was seeing. Otherwise, kind of charming. My guess would be the best other Doctor for her to have met would be seven (Sylvester McCoy), as he seemed to be the most open to acknowledging the supernatural and magic. Although, I think he wore a bow-tie as well. As he was pretty bad-ass that might be where the current Doctor got the idea that bow-ties were cool.

I actually forgot about that aspect of Xander...It's been a while since I saw the later seasons of Buffy...
It's funny you should mention Seven actually. There are references to his era in later chapters...I know what you mean about the Seventh Doctor, and I think it could give the story an extra air of 'had Seven planned this before hand?'. (He didn't wear a bow-tie though, just a normal tie. Although there was one occassion involving a mop and a fez...) Of course, I won't divulge which Doctor she met previously, partly so the reader can imagine what it was like, and partly because I haven't decided myself. (I think i've narrowed things down however by implying the previous Doctor they met was better dressed...)

Very interesting first chapter. I like the fact that it's 11 and not 10 that knows Buffy. (Or did she know 10 from that past adventure? Hmmm...) I think you've done a good job of capturing 11's casual way of making threats in his speeches. Nicely done. I can't wait to see where you take this.

Thanks! Really, I haven't said which Doctor she met last, although based on the dress sense comments in this chapter and the next, its either 10, 9 or 8 (based on 8's new costume which is sort of similar to 9's). Really its up to you to decide...

Buffy knew an earlier incarnation of the Doctor, probably 8,9 or 10.

This looks promising. I haven't seen many BtVS/DW crossovers with Eleven in them as yet. You've managed to capture the bombastic nature of Eleven's threats perfectly. Just one point of confusion for me: the Sixth Series hasn't aired yet AFAIK. Don't you mean the Fifth Series?

Ah, well I was thinking that it would be better to set it in series 6, because the series 5 doesn't really have that many gaps between stories. So Series 6 seemed like the more logical decision, (apart from the fact it hasn't aired yet. I don't think its even finished filming...). Chances are it's set between this year's Christmas special and the first episode of series 6, providing the former doesn't end on some cliff hanger.
