I like the premise of this story, so I will definitely be tracking! Riddick is a surprise with how fast he learns and adapts. Then again, he is a survivor. Part of that is being able to adapt to any situation he finds himself in. I like the spark of interest I see too.

In my world *snicker*, the "common" language in CoR-verse is derived from English. Several centuries away, but in his travels, surely Riddick's come across some isolated communities that have used a close version of it. The adaptibility surely comes in handy as well. Glad you liked this, and thanks for making some of the same conclusions I did. Hope you enjoy where it'll go!

It's the first story in a series. I wanted to put it forward to see how many people on this site would read it - after all, not everyone likes male/male slash, or Riddick, Spike, Xander or any combination of the three. Yes, there is more to it. I'm in the middle of #3 actually, waiting on the 2nd to come back from a quick beta-read. Hope to have it posted tonight sometime. Other than "the end is very sudden"... did you like it? *lol*
