I love this fic! I know you haven't updated it in a while, but I really hope you do continue it eventually :-)

*laughs* It really has been a while since I've written for this! But this truly is one of the ones that is on a bit of a hiatus and not abandoned. I actually have the entire ending already written - just the pesky middle to do. *snorts*

Good fun - I hope you'll continue someday. I've just finished watching all of BBT so can follow the references pretty well (though I must say while Caltech had plenty of quirky folks when I was there, I never ran into anyone as autistic as Sheldon - most of the real geniuses seemed to be either awesome polymaths like Feynman or condescending jerks like Wolfram :-)

Incidentally we like to capitalize it "Caltech", not "CalTech". No biggie.

Sorry for the long time before response deathgeonous, real life has been rather...well, chaotic is a good word I suppose. Anyway, with all of the other stories I am working on this one probably won't get an update anytime soon - it hasn't been abandoned, I just honestly haven't written for it in a while.

I'm sorry Valkyrie, but probably not. I haven't completely abandoned it but I haven't been writing much lately (I've entered "The Wishlist" to try to motivate myself to write more) and when I do it hasn't been for this fic. I'll most likely be coming back to it since I -have- already written out the end and other bits and parts, but it might be a while before another chapter pops up.

Sorry for the disappointment but I'd rather be honest with you than just say what I think you want to hear. I apologize again.

Enjoyed it very much. I love the idea of Fred being on the big bang theory and connecting to Sheldon in some way, it could be good for the both of them. Anxiously awaiting the next chapter :)

Thanks, lmarie. Interactions between Fred, Sheldon, and Penny are extremely fun for me. I've probably already written this in the story (so I apologize for quoting myself) but Sheldon has so many quirks he doesn't really think Fred is crazy, Fred can translate Sheldon speak for Penny, and Penny and Fred can get each others' humor. :)

The next chapter is in the works - I've been a bit distracted by my other fics honestly.

Nah, what I'm doing has nothing to do with the MIB and is all Sheldon planning and trying to fix things.

I'm not sure the MIB would have that much of an interest in Penny yet anyway, she -just- met Fred and they don't particularly go around just helping people out. It's a neat idea that would work better if I was more chapters in I think - if Penny and Fred were closer and MiB saw stabilizing Penny's income as something that would be good for Fred. And therefore in a roundabout way them.

Does that make sense? I probably just did that thing I seem to do in reviews, where I just start typing and end up over explaining things. Sorry about that. :)

I love how Sheldon just steps in and handles things. Another great chapter.

I have a great fondness for Sheldon's character. He doesn't react like most people do but he's still very human - it's great fun to write.

Poor Penny, she just tries to help out a new girl friend and instead she manages to break her:( And poor Fred, she tries to make a new friend and ends up writting all over her wall. I hope they can spend more time together though because Penny would be good for her I think. And Penny might have better luck helping Fred act normal than she had with the guys so far :)

There will be more Fred and Penny interaction in the future, both of them need more female friends (remember Fred's close friends in AtS? After Cordy died, she was the sole female of the group).

And normal....well, I suppose normal is what you make it. :) But, I doubt Fred will be able to ever do the typical normal. Also, she hasn't really been around any of the BBT guys (except in passing) other than Sheldon.
