This fic was grand, well-written prose; It was nice to see that Castiel knows at least the basic premise of sex. I hope the tacos to those creatures did not vex.
The ending was swell and it was nice to see Gunn healed as well.

I'd love to see the boys meet Cas's gal. I also liked how you worked the Old Ones into the mythos, rather neatly explaining why Ilyria would not be on the Lord's Naughty List while still keeping the general idea of Old Ones as evil.
Would there be children? Is so, what exactly would they be? The more powerful angels in Scripture did not look particularly human anyway...
The thought of Illyria or Cas dating was a bit weird, nevermind together! But I got past it and the ending was totally worth it. I like the stories when an army of Slayers turn up to help out, but this is even better!

Your wrote both Cas and Illyria very well. The Host showing up at the end was bloody fantastic.
Also, I enjoyed the description of how the Old Ones fit into SPN mythos. Nicely done!!

Thanks. I kinda felt that the title 'demon' was thrown around way too much in the Buffy-Verse. And I'm an Illyria fan. The idea of her being an Angel and everyone just assuming she's a big evil demon makes me all warm and snarky inside.
