The past few days, I've been reading 'About the Blood' and this story, and I've got to say, it's amazing.
When I started reading 'About the Blood', I was completely blown away. I loved the premiss, the characters (old and new), the cameos from different parents/grandparents, and -I can't believe I'm about to say this- I loved Tom Riddle. He was just so real, not Good or Evil, but a teenager who could go either way. The entire fic I was cheering on Buffy and Tom, hoping that with Buffy on his side, Tom wouldn't become Lord Voldemort. And then Buffy was torn away (very much with the Big NOOO! here) and I couldn't imagine where you'd go from there.
And you amazed me. Reintroducing Buffy (with all the subtle and not-so-subtle differences) to the Wizarding World was a great idea. You managed to fit your story neatly into the cannon of both 'verses, and I love the interactions between Buffy and her old friends, even if I felt a bit sorry for her for missed opportunities, never mind the fact that her ex is now a Big Bad... Can't wait to see Buffy and Voldemort meet in person...
A good writer writes what you want to read. A great writer writes what you didn't know you wanted to read. Thank you for writing that story.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter, please update...

Wow, this really is no 1 on my list of top 5 BTVS/HP crossover fan fiction because so far your seamless blending of them is quite remarkable. As I'm reading I can't help but picture out the actual characters (tv/books/movie) come to life and really interact with each other. That's how good you're writing is. Wow again. I'm eagerly anticipating how our heroes' lives will unfold. This may sound cheesy but humour me---i keep seeing this image while reading your story, of a particular confrontation of Harry and Voldemort (either at the Ministry or at Hogwarts towards the end) and Buffy being there calling Tom, coming up to him completely unarmed just softly approaching the dangerous Dark Lord. Then it can go anyways---Buffy might embrace the wizard after seeing some glimpse of his old self or she might end up injured or dead. That's not a suggestion or anything by the way. That scene playing on my mind is just so persistent that I can't help sharing it with you. You're writing is so refreshing as well because you've taken such a detailed prose, took the time to really flesh out the characters, places and events in the story. I'm your number 1 fan! Thank you too for this excellent story!

I like what you have done so far with the series and I am looking forward to read any future additions you might get inspired to add to it.

Best line ever. Had to be Dawn screaming out about an old dude at the door. Just reminded me of when Buffy meet Giles in a way. Old dude with book at a door, trying to get her to do something. Very well writen and an excellent continuation of your first fic. This has all the hooks a person could ask for. Great plot. Excellent progression of the plot. Just a very nicely balanced story with heart.
Firstly, keep updating :) I really love how you've woven Buffy into this world.
Secondly, this one does seem draggier than the first, you have all the characters spot on (so hate Umbridge). I think part of it is because you are being so awesomely faithful to the source material that I'm already pretty aware of a lot of what is happening. Also, really, I just wanna see Buffy and Tom/Voldemort meet up again. They were so interesting to read about in the first story and I don't have that propelling me (yet) in this story.
I do enjoy Dawn regularly putting the whiney Hogwarts students in their places :D
Anyways, still a great narrative, well written and really well characterized. Write on! I've totally enjoyed myself as I spent a day reading it.

This is very good, and the exploration of the past, beyond the Marauders generation, is rare. Having it be well written is even rarer. I await your next update with much anticipation.
Do enjoy the story. I am really looking forward to the first confrontation between Buffy and Voldemort. It could be one of the love hate confrontations.
