The "Love, Actually" reference made me smile . . . and so appropriate for both Buffy AND Tony.
Comments from author:
I thought of that movie as I was contemplating the prompt and it had to be written. I'm glad you liked it and those two could really use some happiness in their lives.

Love the alternate job offer after Daniel's laughed-out-of-academia-lecture, with Buffy showing up instead of Catherine Langford. I've always thought he'd make a cool watcher.
Comments from author:
Thank you. Daniel has already, in part, reminded me of Giles so I think he'd fit nicely into the Watcher role. I liked writing this so perhaps there's more in the future for this 'verse. Thank you for taking the time to review.

Thank you. AUs are fun that way. :) There's more to this 'verse already posted on this site. Check under my series and the title 'The Law of Club and Fang' or you can check the link in this chapter.

Thank you. It was a terror to write, but I think it turned out pretty smashingly.

Review:
Waking up a Slayer (whose last memories before going into cryo will be of fighting endless waves of monsters) with only her primitive brain operational at first? To adapt a quote from Riddick in the movie, Johns does NOT know who he's f___ing with!
Any chance of a sequel? Pretty please?
Comments from author:
To Johns' credit he doesn't know he's waking up a Slayer, but it is pretty arrogant, which lends itself pretty well to his character. :)
There will be a sequel. Once these prompts are completed.

Ooh *shivers* So glad to see a continuation to Don't Stop Believin'! The idea that Dean and Buffy are not fighting demons and are in fact just delusional... *shivers some more* They both have such a strong sense of righteousness, I can totally see them doing this, too, under the circumstances. And their relationship? It's chilling and yet I find it kind of sweet, too (wait, does that say something about me? :P).
Fantastic work!
Comments from author:
I'm having fun with those two crazy kids. :) I think the concept of them both being completely insane isn't that far fetched and that's what makes it interesting. The relationship is suppose to be the part of the ficlet that squicks because I almost want the readers to root for them. What does that say about me? ;)
