I like this too, it's an interesting pairing and it makes sense. I like how you percent Millicent in this story. Usually most fics depict her as a thug. Very few put her as a girl. I I like how she's out on her first date with Connor. He's still new to this world, they'll discover the things about dating together. Of course the twins show up, they can't pass up a chance for a joke or a prank, but they pick on the wrong picked on the wrong people to pick on, Connor and Millicent (liked how you put her as a quidditch player as well and slapped both the twins) don't take insults very well. Great how you have Conner deal with them.

I love to see how her Slytherin classmates find out about this, I wonder if Pansy or Draco react to this, or how about Harry and his friends, the twins might not mention this, because the might be a bit embarrassed, but I would like to see Harry Ron and Hermione react to this. I like to see this continue if you can.

Thanks. I wasn't too sure about it. Connor... he tends to go for the direct approach, something that may not be always appropriate in every situation, but this time he got lucky, apparently. Yeah, Millicent tends to get a short end of the stick when it comes to the relationships, and really tends to be ignored as a character, so I tried to give her a spot in the sun for a change. I admit, I am not sure how she'll and Connor will get along in regards to dating, but they intend to try. The twins just tried to make fun of an awkward situation (they were probably known to do that) and it backfired on them. Connor...he just doesn't look like he understands the finer points of humour (especially British humour) and just tried to deal with them as he usually did.

As for Millicent's classmates...it will probably be tricky. I see Connor and Draco not get along very well, at least at first. As for Harry I just don't see him rushing to fight without at least trying talk things first (admittedly, it'll be Hermione's idea, but still)... The twins will probably try to downplay the whole thing (because they started the whole thing and I cannot see their parents approve the twins of making fun of a girl)...but I may continue it in the future.

Oh, I just loved this! So few people do crossovers with Millicent as the point character. And you have the twins being silly little hair-pullers (which is they way they should always be, imho.) Loved her reaction to their reaction of Connor's reaction (if you get what I mean).

Very good story.

Thanks, I tried. Yeah, Millicent is a bit underrepresented in the fandom, both mainstream and canon, so I've tried to write something for her. The twins... they probably got too much than what they have expected... oh well. And yeah, Connor may not always say the right thing, but this time he got it right on the money (Millicent doesn't usually get compliments from boys, does she?). Thanks for the review.

LOVED THIS!!!

The Twins really annoy most of the time, since I think that they are really nothing more than self-centered bullies who pick on those who can't really fight back.

I've been hoping to see someone bitch-slap them the way they deserve for some time now.

Any chance we might see a confrontation between Connor and Harry, based on the somewhat slanted way the Twins would describe what happened here? ;-)

Thanks for the enthusiastic review! Personally, I tend to find the twins just a bit annyoing, even if their hearts are in the right place (Dolores Umbridge in book five, say). Still, Connor probably would not get along with them, especially if he was a pro-Slytherin (at least in my POV). And as for a confrontation between him and Harry? Maybe it will happen, but not any time soon (the twins will be too embarassed to explain that a younger girl has knocked them unconscious with a couple of slaps.
