A pig's story can never really end well, but I'm sorry that Fern's story has so much sadness in it too :(

For a minute I thought about being really mean and writing a sequel. How messed up would it have been if Fern and Henry had adopted a daughter, and that daughter was Buffy's cousin Cecilia (the one that dies in the fever episode)? Kid Buffy could have made an appearance while Fern and Henry receive the news that their daughter is dead... But I just thought that that's not who I am. I can only deal with so much tear-jerker stuff in fanfic.

Oh, how sad for Fern and Henry. Is it completely evil of me to hope that something happens to Hank and Joyce so Buffy can go live with them instead?
