Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from FallenGods
Review:
I liked the idea of scoobies dying,
amongst circumstances mystifying.
Of all the endings presented here,
the winner is most certainly clear.

While Dark Dawn is a thrill,
the Mayor is better still.
For all his evil plotting and guile,
is presented to us with happy smile.
Comments from author:
LOL reading this review!!! ;-)

Glad you enjoyed the story, and I definitely agree that Mayor Wilkins was the best Big Bad seen on the show, because they made him so *human* while still being so evil. 0.0

Review:
I love Wilkins as a villain, he has style and foresight.
Comments from author:
Yeah, I think he was most certainly the BEST villain of all the ones Joss ever came up with - smart, charming and affable while defining evil in a way that was unmistakable.

Review:
Interesting, though I think I prefer the last chapter. Will you continue this story arc and have Buffy & Co face off against the ascended Mayor and his Slayer 'Daughter'?
Comments from author:
Not sure when I'm going to follow this one up, but I do have several ideas about how to do so.

Review of chapter "Chapter Four" from Cutiepie
Review:
Well, I wonder if Andrew kills off Dawn now that she has pretty much outlived her usefulness (as a decoy/distraction in eliminating the Scoobies) since it sounded like Andrew had completely manipulated her all along. But for that to be the case, he must have been a beyond Oscar-caliber actor to have appeared so idiotic in canon and have nobody suspect him of being a true master-mind capable of such advanced planning and skillful manipulation. That also implies that it wasn't just luck that he was the only survivor from the "Evil Trio" and that he also survived The First while Anya didn't. Maybe he actually used her as a human shield during the battle in "Chosen"? Just how long had Andrew been planning to take over the Council anyway?

So, do you still have a bunch of ideas that you are going to write chapters for, or are you burned out on this one and ending it here? I know how fickle muses can be, and if they don't want to do something, it doesn't happen.
Comments from author:
My idea of this aspect for Andrew was to model him along the lines of Keyser Söze acting as 'Verbal' Kent in the movie, 'The Usual Suspects' - a very clever and devious criminal, who portrayed himself as being much less than he truly was among the rank and file of the criminal world, in order to move freely and manipulate the people around him.

If I ever do decide to expand on this particular chapter, that is how I would proceed - showing Andrew as being far more devious and clever than anyone ever suspected, and manipulating others to allow him to do his dirty work under a cover of others' actions.

I have one or two more ideas that my muse has tossed out for inspection, but I'm not sure whether, or when, I'll be following up on them.

Well that was certainly different!

Thanks. That's the whole point of fanfiction, isn't it? ;-)

Review:
You ended too soon! I want to know if Buffy convinced Willow to do the 12 step hopscotch with the pie-moons!
Comments from author:
It's difficult to properly mangle English as well as Buffy does, but I certainly tried. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from michaelangelo
Review:
Dawn and Andrew as the big bads?? *snort* ...... Riiiiiight. Good chapter and original but too fantastically improbable. Would have believed Xander had joined the first and become some kind of bringer than that combination.
Comments from author:
It might be improbably, but it's not inconceivable, and that's what generates fan fiction. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Four" from (Current Donor)Ironbear
Review:
Hey! That sounds awfully familiar for some reason... *scratches head* Oh. I know!!!

"Andrew faked his death using a mystical clone and is the one behind it, in a masterful attempt to take control of the Council and *finally* be the Supervillian he always dreamed of being. That's why he maneuvered Warren into killing Tara in the first place, way back when - to set the stage for all of this... "

*snerk*

That was hilarious, thanks. ;) Poor Xander...
Comments from author:
Glad you enjoyed this chapter. ;-)

And all of the Scoobies fell for the 'poor, helpless Dawn' concept. I would guess that most of them suffered just as much as Xander. ;-(

Review:
Interesting twist to the normal 'Someone's killing the Scoobies and Buffy is the only one who can save them'. Having Dawn and Andrew teaming up and becoming 'The Big Bad' is not something that's done very often. Good story despite the bad guys winning.
Comments from author:
Thanks. When my muse threw this one out, I thought it would be fun to write up, just because it's so different from what you usually see.

Review of chapter "Chapter Four" from TruthIsWhatUMakeOfIt
Review:
That ending had Dawn so out of character it was ridiculous.
Comments from author:
I thought it was an interesting possibility, based on the several scenes in both Season Sux and Season Sux Part Deux, which had her acting in a rather selfish and obnoxious manner (basically as your typical teenager).

Extrapolating from that premise, I don't think this is at all an unreasonable premise. Obviously, you disagree.

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from (Current Donor)Ironbear
Review:
Heh. No... just popped into my warped little mind. I have enough trouble reading my own notes. ;)

I have a few other possibilities off the top of my head:

* Wolfram and Hart resurrected Kendra via the rite they used for Darla and now she's making Buffy's life hell in revenge for Buffy getting her killed.

* Evil Faith from an alternate dimension is behind it: she's wandering the multiverse wiping out Scoobies where ever she finds them in revenge for them blowing up the Mayor...

* D'hoffryn made Anya a vengeance demon again at the moment of her death and now she's a bit P.O.'d that Buffy stuck her with Andrew and got her killed, and at the others for being too wimpy to call Buffy on her idiocy. Why go for the kill when you can go for the pain... ? ;)

* The Immortal is taking advantage of his relationship with Buffy to wipe out her organization.

* Spike - the *real* Spike, not that chipped, souled imitation that the Initiative stuck us with - took exception to season 5, season Sux, and season Sux Too and is wandering along casually restoring his reputation as the Big Bad.

* Anya came back as a Crow and she's busily "setting the wrong things right". Or Jonathan...

* Greenwalt and Minear are seriously annoyed with what Whedon and Marti did to the Buffyverse, and now they're going along and fixing the damage the hard way...

* Catherine Madison (remember her?) escaped from the cheerleading trophy when the town cratered and now she's *finally* getting her long overdue revenge...

The possibilities are endless. ;)
Comments from author:
Yes, the possibilities are, quite literally, endless, and you'll just have to wait and see what is yet to come. ;-)

Although I really do like your suggestion about Greenwalt and Minear bwing seriously annoyed with what Whedon and Marti did. ;-)

Hey! Quit looking at me like that! (o0) It could happen. ;)

After all, Andrew *is* the only one there with a proven history of killing his own friends... and with the (comics) background for overly complicated schemes.

Good story, so far. Interesting scenarios, and lots of possibilities.
Comments from author:
Have you been looking over my shoulder at my notes? ;-)

Yes, you're right, that would be a quite believable scenario, should it ever happen. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from Cmiller
Review:
Well now I am confused and would greatly like to know what the hells going on.
Comments from author:
As I indicated in the preface before chapters two and three, each chapter following chapter one will be a completely separate chapter, independent of any of the following chapters and offering one possible explanation for everything which I described happening in chapter one.

An interesting and entertaining storyline that really threw me when she woke up.

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from Cutiepie
Review:
Another interesting ending. Makes me wonder just how many times she had tried to get "Aunt Buffy" to get it right before this. Glad she is getting through this time, however. It's a good thing that Buffy is remembering her slayer-type dreams so clearly though, or the message would never have been received.

And considering Liam is my oldest child, I have to agree that baby Liam is VERY cute. =]
Comments from author:
Glad yo enjoyed this chapter. There are several more to come that will hopefully be just as interesting.
