Review of chapter "The Wrong Thing To Say" from JediKnight
Review:
Not much made sense.
Comments from author:
You have a good point, updating the disclaimer accordingly: " This assumes that Spike lives in a merged-Marvel verse where the X-Men are televised heroes with a huge and surprisingly well fact-checked rumor mill and that Gambit's *somehow* able to recognize him as a vampire and, when annoyed, take action accordingly. I like this, but it probably falls somewhat short on story logic ;) "

Thanks :)

That really was an Andrew moment..

In hell, Spike is probably nodding between torments because that line really earned instant death.
Comments from author:
Heh :)

Nah, Andrew's trouble is with *not* repressing himself. He'd wind up going for the crazy stalker angle, which is less likely to provoke lethal damage from heroes as a first response ;)

An appropriate response for Spike here would've been 'Hey. Good luck.' in a calm, normal volume, voice. Expecting, say, for Gambit to stop walking away for a second, turn his head slightly and nod. And... if he doesn't receive any acknowledgement, then he should try and not feel too bad about it.

Have to admit, Spike was just like most of the Scoobies in not knowing when to keep his mouth shut. ;-)
Comments from author:
Heh. Yeah. Thanks :)

A moral of the story is: If you're geeking out about something, don't get used to hiding it around other people or you might wind up insulting those you respect
