I never read that (or indeed any other) SG-1 tie-in novel, but the concepts are fascinating (Yu was always the Goa'uld whose relationship with his First Prime seemed most honest, and it makes sense that he and Ba'al AND Anubis might've had their hosts' cooperation and support in order to get as far as they had in their respective fields of endeavor).
