That was nice to read, regarding the happy ending. You still need a beta rather badly, though, for spelling and characterization and whatnot, but again - it was a pretty decent story.

This is captivating despite said grammatical and medical (Connor...well, you could put it down to him being supernatural in nature, but based on the rules you're currently playing by, Connor should have died well before Angel got him back to the Hyperion's lobby) errors. I'm dashing over to the sequel to see what happens next.

My mistake, I had it mixed up with a different story. So in that case, please update soon!
