Review of chapter "Another Last Chance" from Gideon
Review:
Sounds like Xander now has a good reason to cherish what he does have :)
Comments from author:
Yeah, getting possessed by Lieutenant Kage - who has to be one of the biggest homicidal human sociopaths of all time in the history of science fiction, and is easily the worst in Warhammer 40,000 literature (and he's up against some incredibly stiff competition for that particular title) - for a night is going to have an impact. :)

Of course, that's assuming Xander ever regains control of his body... ;)

Review of chapter "Spitfire" from Gideon
Review:
Awesome! A fair bit of confusion all around :) Hammond needs to get someone googling old Doctor Who episodes stat!
Comments from author:
Yup, that's going to raise a fair few eyebrows among his superiors. :)

Review of chapter "Balls of British Steel!" from Gideon
Review:
I think they might need a few more than half a dozen!
Comments from author:
Ah, but one of them's a Hartlepudlian, so that makes them just about enough to make a difference. ;D

Review of chapter "Red vs. Buffy: Reconstruction" from Gideon
Review:
There seems to be a complete absence of Buffy from this chapter :( Oh, well. At least Walsh died.
Hopefully by the time the Master Chief got out of the base he will realise then whole world is not a battlefield...
Comments from author:
I know, I know... I just couldn't work out how to get Buffy in and make it still work. This chapter is heavily based on the 'prologue' episode of the popular machinima web series 'Red vs. Blue', with an Initiative team replacing the Recovery Force agents.
Also, it's not actually the Master Chief. The Meta got a bit of an upgrade after Walsh performed a few experiments... ;)

Review of chapter "Buffysworld: Moving Target" from Gideon
Review:
Sounds like the way to Buffy's heart is through big guns!
Comments from author:
This is a long-held theory of mine: after all, she seemed to really like the rocket launcher that Xander masterminded the theft of in BtVS Season 2... :D

Another long-held theory of mine is that it is an enormous shame that no episode of BtVS involved Buffy using a tank to destroy the latest demonic baddie. I mean, come on: Buffy in a tank - what could possibly be cooler than that? ;)

Thanks for reviewing! :)

Review of chapter "Our Mrs McGee" from Gideon
Review:
Seems like Tim only needs one reason to stay married to Faith, and I can only think of one reason Faith would stay with anyone - That McGee must have some mad skillz!
Comments from author:
Heh-heh... :D Actually, I'm planning to write another chapter for this one (eventually) that will delve a little deeper into Faith's relationship with Tim, its origins, and why they're still together. (And to firmly establish that Faith hasn't had some kind of big bust-up with Robin Wood.)

And, given Tim's canon habit of researching things (such as reading women's magazines to understand them), he very likely has acquired a few 'mad skillz' as you say. ;)

Best wishes, and ride free!

Review of chapter "Spitfire" from djhardim
Review:
Great. I particularly like "Spitfire". I hope you revisit this story.

Edit: Technically, the Spitfire (and anything on it) is the property of the British government. I can imagine what will happen if the NID tries to confiscate it (assuming that the plane survives past Halloween).
Comments from author:
Thankees, and 'Spitfire' is definitely one that I'm planning/hoping to add another chapter to (eventually) - the tricky part is figuring out just what exactly should come next. When I first saw the Doctor Who episode 'Victory of the Daleks' last year, the basic idea immediately popped into my mind, and I knew I had to do something with it. :)

Thanks for reviewing,

El ;)

Edit: Excellent point - but whether the NID tries to confiscate it also depends on where it lands... and who tries to land it. (After all, Xander's persona of 'Burton' is from a time when the US Air Force didn't exist yet - it was still a branch of the US Army - and his first loyalty lies elsewhere... although he'd get a shock if he tried to land at, say, Biggin Hill.)

Review of chapter "Our Mrs McGee" from (Current Donor)mmooch
Review:
OMG, Mrs Faith McGee...words fail me. But I love the smackdown she gave Tony - both literal and figuative.
Comments from author:
Thanks - glad you're enjoying this li'l series of mine so far! :)

And, yup, I'm surprised that Tony rarely (if ever?) gets pegged as a nerd in crossovers... his knowledge of films and the history of stars certainly seems to rival that of any member of the BtVS-verse's Troika...

Thanks for reviewing. :)
