I can only say interesting. Not a bad, "oh, that's nice" interesting, but more like a "thought provoking kinda terrifying but holy-crap-awesomeness" interesting. If that makes any kind of sense. Anyways. I feel like the next step will be the most, oh, defining, I guess, but I would also like to know the steps before, because Lachesis' Knot doesn't quite take the edge off the curiosity. Wow, I'm not usually this cryptic and weird, so I'll stop. But.....Interesting.

I think the saddest thing about the story is that Novak completely missed her point. I think Castiel will get it eventually, even if in the short term it's causing them some friction, but Novak won't understand until it's too late. Now you've made me wonder what happened to that girl that Castiel possessed in the past - did he leave when she did, and let her grow up or what?

Anyway, very nice, very missed-opportunity sad.

The kid was a boy and yeah, in my head, he left him alone again since he had no more reason to keep a vessel. What happened to him though is another question. I always found the way angels used their vessels rather callous.
