Good explanation about Lupada. And the ending had me rolling. Had to read that last part twice before I really got it. Very nice indeed. Write something else. (please?)(also I really like Angel stories - Angel and just about anybody, just so long as Angel is there.)

Thank you for wading through this and for commenting, and I'm happy that you enjoyed it. There are a couple of kind of crack!fic oneshots that came after this that I'll probably put up. I don't have any more Buffy crossover series done, but I do like this cast and will likely revisit it at some point. I have a couple Buffy (no Angel, sadly) series on ff.net under the name ljlash.larue. Most of my things are on LJ, and are mostly Harry Potter femmeslash.
Thanks again for your kind words.

So, is Ada happy as Lupada (nice combination of lup(wolf)and ada(our girl)) or am I way off base. And is Esprit de Coeur the spirit of our favorite Warg or someone/thing else?
Comments from author:
Yes, that's sort of her, she is addressed in the epilog as well.
And Spirit is indeed a scion of Lupa, he even has the mark, as does Lupada. I do appreciate your reading and commenting, thank you very much.

As always, another fine chapter. I liked Illyria's generous gift to Angel and Spike. And appreciated the dig at the Twilight stories (which I can't stand.)
Comments from author:
My thanks once again, and not least for getting the Twilight dig. I do wish I'd thought of it though, with that kind of money you could bring back Firefly.

Have you ever noticed how boring aftermaths are. Not your story,of course, just aftermaths in general. The battle is so tense - will the good guys win, will the bad guys get in one last blow that turns it into a Phyric victory for the good guys?
Still, a wandering Spike with access to a wet bar has possibilities.
Comments from author:
I certainly have, and speaking as a writer, I always feel a bit of a letdown once the final shoe has dropped, so to speak. I try and keep a shoe or two in reserve, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't so much.
I do thank you for sticking with this story, I appreciate it.
