Review of chapter "Ball Room Blitz" from Gideon
Review:
Is it finished? Please say there is more? Xander and his rescue squad are stuck in the wrong dimension! Please let there be a sequel?
Comments from author:
There WILL BE a sequel. I have no idea when it shall come out. I will tentatively say before summer break starts, but my muse is a bit exhausted and has gone into hibernation mode. So.

Read the whole fic again, and really hope you close this on Dawn's part as well before she dips fullscale into the HPverse. I mean, letting her know through Xan and the girls or however that the betrayal was a solo act out of the side she had trusted. The poignancy is completely sans melodrama, and every character rings true even with multiple reads. Kudos.

Review:
Okay, I'm really liking this series. Starting from a truly silly premise, you've told a tale full of humor, wonder and real emotion. Definitely going to follow up on the next story (and...dare I say?...the one after that).

One small problem I had, though; Buffy's message to all the potentials at the end of Season Seven was not "Do you want to be strong?" It was "Are you READY to be strong?" It wasn't an offer, it was a challenge -- here it comes, let's see if you're ready.

Really a minor point, perhaps even a nitpick. But I feel it's important. Other than that -- brilliant. Loving this and really want to see where it goes.
Comments from author:
There will be several more stories, I hope. I'm glad you've liked it.

I will admit I am not as up on season 6 and 7 of Buffy as probably should be. I just don't like them very much, so I've watched them maybe once. I prefer seasons 1 and 3 are my favorite. Well, I'll go back and change the wording to fit. Makes sense to me.

Ah!!! Where is Dawn!! stupid Anita, I don´t like her. And you, please, write the next chapter fast.
Comments from author:
Sorry. It'll be a bit before you find out what's going on with everyone. Very few people are happy with Anita at this point.

Poor Dawn, always getting the bad end of things.
Comments from author:
What sucks is she didn't even do anything this time. It just happened.

Review:
Nicelittle mess. Thought there was going to be another x-over?
Comments from author:
There will be. I just thought it would be neater to break the story up into a series with each crossover being a different story. She's in Scotland, she's just not in her Scotland.

Review:
Absolutely superb. I hope that maybe in the first chapter of the next installment you wrap up Xander, the pseudo-virtues and the Anitaverse people with only the deserving getting a smackdown. Otherwise it would just distract from the next installments (which will be hopefully soon). Poor Dawn. And I have to say - yet again - I *love* this fic. Thanks so much for writing it. :)
Comments from author:
Again, I thank you and am pleased you enjoyed it. I like the idea of Dawn pulling a sort of Carmen Sandiego in that everytime the rescue team manages to track her down, she jumps to the next world. Repeat ad to infintium. None of the Slayers are happy, and Xander is greatly annoyed. If Anita manages to not die, he'll be having words with her.

But she's a main character. Odds are she will live.

Review:
Okay, I can't believe you're sending the seven virtues (sort of) to resuce Dawn! LOL That just cracked me up. And I know this is rhyming day, but I just can't do that to you. Your eyes might bleed, or your brain; it just wouldn't be pretty. Great new update, even if it isn't 'Crossbows.'

Thanks for the amusing read.
Comments from author:
You're welcome. I was originally going to name them all after the virtues, but even though unusual names are par-for-course in Buffyverse, I just couldn't see someone naming their kid 'Diligence'. It would be shortened to 'Dil' and then the pickle jokes would start... or Humility. Might get the nick-name 'humus'. So it's going to be Xander and the semi-virtues to the rescue!

Poor Dawn, she was having such fun, and then someone had to go and ruin it! I hope they haven't managed to restart the collapse of the multiverse but I guess it would serve them right.

Review:
Superb. Very very worth the wait. :)
Dawn's POV just keeps getting better and better. And I love the way you characterize Anita both in this fic and in 'They Had Crossbows' - critical without crossing over into bashing, *and* mindful of her good points.
This time round, Anita has - as always - placed everyone else on the chopping block alongside her for a fault that's hers alone. Eagerly looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for writing this one. This fic is developing so superbly with each chapter that I really really hope you change your mind and add on several chapters more. Pretty please?
EDIT: I just read the note on your profile page that you're working on the last chapter for this fic. All good things have to end sometime, but damnit. Oh, well. There's still the terrific 'They Had Crossbows' unfolding. *Really* waiting for the next chapter now to see how you wrap this. :)
Comments from author:
Well, this story couldn't go on forever. I had originally intended it to be a one-shot, after all. And Giant Dawn has places to go and people to freak out. They Had Crossbows is still a long way from being finished, though. So you have that!

Hope you enjoy the last chapter. Craziness ensues. Cliffs are hanged. Dawn gets home-but-not.

Review:
Oh....HER!

She needs to be punted to the far side of the solar system; either that or thrown across the continent.

Which would be better do you think? Sure, she wouldn't survive either one, but I'm not picky.

I'm thinking far side of the solar system. Of course, she'd be dead once she entered the vacuum of space, but like I said, I'm not picky.

These people are stupid. S-T-O-O-P-I-D.

Who in the heck in that crowd has the common sense of an amoeba to do that to Dawn?

As big as she is, and can easily make that person into 'Squishy Monster a la Mode'?

There's a serious lack of brain power going on here.
Comments from author:
You wanna know who did it? Hint: She's hypocritical with a major case of overcompensation, and no one is going to like her when all is said and done.
