Review of chapter "Planning Stage" from ShyBob
Yeah, I can't stand the show for more than five minutes at a time, but this is brilliant. Some of the dialogue had me laughing so hard I almost hurt myself. Glad I lucked onto the series.

Review of chapter "Planning Stage" from Gideon
The coincidences do keep mounting up don't they. I'm glad Buffy and Kennedy have decided to tell the gang the truth. Then they just have to get them all trusting each other so they can work as a team :) And Buffy finally found someone who believes that Kennedy is not her girlfriend!

Review of chapter "Planning Stage" from Meneldur
So, explanations begin. I don't think there's much to say about the chapter - it seems like setting up for the next chapter. Still, for the kind of a chapter it's excellent. I do wonder at all the coincidences, and what Sue thinks is the answer. Hopefully we'll find out soon.
Wait, wasn't Willow in charge of the finances for the Council, not Giles? Or does Buffy mean she'll get Giles to approve it, or was it a way of avoiding mention of Willow (which we still don't know what's going on with)?
"So we now have permission to let her niece know she's a potential," - I think you mean 'daughter'? Unless I missed something, and this was Santana's aunt? It's really unclear.
Can't wait for more.

EDIT: Ah, that makes things clearer.
As for the Willow/Kennedy thing, I am still under the assumption that Kennedy proposed and Willow said she wasn't ready. But we won't know for sure until we're actually told, and we certainly won't know where the relationship is headed.
Comments from author:
No, Giles is still ultimately in charge of Council money but others do have the ability to influence spending.

The Kennedy - Willow problem? Buffy and Giles might not know what's going on but the reader should have figured it out very early in the story.

No, niece is correct. They'd just finished having lunch with Santana's aunt (Who is also Kennedy's 'aunt'). Daughter would have meant Quinn and Quinn's mother is completely in the dark at this point.

::cue ominous music:: Actually, I can't decide whether to go with "Dun-dun-dun!" or the theme from Jaws at this point.

I feel like this story's really getting ready to jump. I can't wait for the next chapter or six!

And I love this. Such a wonderful idea. And as much as I disliked Kennedy in have really shown another side to her here. And I like it. I hope she confides in Buffy, wouldn't mind them forming an actual friendship. And I love the Potentials...maybe Kurt has some Watcher gene...or is the many-times-removed son of a Slayer? Can't wait to find out. Excellent story!
Comments from author:

Kurt's connection is covered in the other story in this series "Are We There Yet" and will be fleshed out over the next few chapters.

Review of chapter "Genetic Opera" from PiedraLumbre
Another excellent piece. Your integration of the Glee characters into the Buffyverse works perfectly, and having Sue Sylvester being Buffy's cheerleading coach from Hemery is brilliant. You also managed to write a Kennedy that I actually like which is an impressive feat as I have a strong negative impression of her from canon. I'm looking forward to your next update as usual.

Review of chapter "Genetic Opera" from Gideon
Great story, I love it. Coach Sylvester projects just the right brand of complete contempt for all other living things that would help her fit right in at the old council. I can believe that she has found a nefarious scheme to rob Slayers of their power and is pursuing it between CheerChampionships. I just hope that Buffy tells Willow that people are mistaking Kennedy for her girlfriend before someone else tells her. Nobody likes Willow when she gets mad :(

Interesting! I hope there's more to come. :)

I like that you've given Kennedy growth. Never a favorite of mine, but bearable and possibly even likable in this story. ^.^
Training Kurt to be the girls' Watcher, huh? Smooth. Looking forward to the next installment.

Review of chapter "Genetic Opera" from RandomSelection

I really like your story so far, it's an interesting approach: There are far too few stories where Kennedy is depicted as a decent human being, in most cases she is just a stereotypical bitch - I like your characterization much better! Sue a an undercover Council operative is hilarious, the idea with Slayer genetics has a lot potential, as does the concept of the four potentials ... I am curious about the pairings: What about Buffy/Kennedy? It's rare, but the way you wrote Ken, it's not unlikely. And what about Rachel/Quinn? There is a lot of potential there, in my opinion.

So: Update, please!

Comments from author:

The pairings will be revealed as the story progresses, though a Buffy/someone pairing will happen, it won't be simple/easy.

I'm mostly a Faberry shipper but I occasionally delve into PezBerry... So we'll see where this one ends up. I think some of it will be obvious in the next installment :-).

Review of chapter "Genetic Opera" from Meneldur
Excellent. And update, and quite a good one.
So, Sue has potentials under her wing, and wants them as slayers. I've always thought that Santana would make an awesome slayer, if she wasn't already one. And of course Brittany is never as stupid as she seems. But the entire mystery is very suspicious. I hope we learn her thoughts on it soon.
Also, why is she training Kurt? Bullying, or something else?
I also can't wait to see Willow/Sue interactions.
Speaking of Willow, how long will it take for her to call Kennedy rather than giving her space? My bet is that if she hasn't called by the time Buffy comes to Cleveland next week, she'll call. But who knows? A lot can happen in a week.
Kennedy seems to at least have a purpose, though, what with this dojo. And maybe family will help. I wonder how that'll go over
"I do have a well developed gaydar" - Are you sure? Because you don't seem to have noticed Brittany and Santana.
I keep debating now, on whether this is Buffy/Kennedy or Kennedy/Willow. Because Willow seems to be sad, and to want Kennedy back. Maybe it'll be Buffy/Kennedy/Willow? Who knows. But I want to find out.
Can't wait for next chapter, Meneldur.
"Erma and her groupies," - I think you mean Emma?
"figure out the Lime Potential mystery" - Lima, not Lime.
Comments from author:
'Lime'? Oops. Thanks for pointing it out.

'Erma'? Just one of Sue's pet names for Emma. It might even be canon. Maybe.

Oh yeah, Rachel and her gaydar. Not the most accurate ability she has.

Review of chapter "Genetic Opera" from evilredknight
You know, just yesterday I checked here, muttering to myself about evil authors who don't update stories I like, and then this. Thank you.

So Buffy sets off gaydar huh? Not exactly surprising. I still wonder about her total apparent blindness with Faith.
Was she THAT in denial, or did she recognize(given Faith's love em' and leave em' philosophy) that she was someone that had the potential to break her, harder then Angel did?

Speaking of Buffy gayness, did Satsu happen in this universe?

Love Brittany's choice of 'light reading'.

Getting interesting.
Comments from author:
No, no Satsu. Or any other person or plot from the Season 8 comic books.

I'm using the 'Brittany is much smarter than she acts' trope that occurs in Glee fan fiction and really wanted her to be reading it or something else like it in the original language but then Kurt wouldn't have known what she was reading which would have turned that one sentence into an awkward paragraph or two of flashback to get the same point across.
