This is such an excellent series. I love the way you've taken and developed it. It's wonderful and engaging, and I eagerly await whatever you write for it next!!! Happy writing!

So beautiful in that wonderfully non-structured way that you write that seems to fit this universe so perfectly. Seriously - most stories are filled with structure, but yours are utterly lacking in a way that causes the words to just flow. The style is so uniquely you, and refreshing as well as beautifully done.
After seeing that this story was connected to Lines, I went back and reread it in its entirety - to refresh myself - before stepping into this one. I'm so glad I did, as Lines is one of my most favorite BtVS/Torchwood/DW crossovers. You write Buffy so very well, and your characterization of the TW crew is just as spot on. You've melded the worlds in a way that's not only beautiful, but seamless - so seamless that every time I read this story, I can't help but hope that our canon Buffy may have taken a similar path.
And then we come to this story and the sheer wonders and horrors that is the Children of Earth. I loved this series - it was brilliant, colorful, loud and so damn amazing - and then they killed Ianto, and that killed me. Young, brave, passionate and brilliant Ianto, dead in a scene that was stunning and so very heart-rending. A part of me had hoped that you would 'fix' this - that you would save Ianto. But in this story, you showed us an aftermath from CoE that not only encompassed Jack and his incredible pain at the loss of the young Welshman, but in your universe, Buffy's tremendous loss as well. And despite all of that - despite the moving on, the healing, and the remembrance of Ianto and everything that he meant to her, I still find myself holding out hope that the mysterious stupid thing that the Doctor did - the one that he's calling for Buffy to help him with - would be that he went and messed with something that shouldn't be messed with, and saved Ianto when no one else did.
Who knows? Maybe in the next story I'll get my wish because while Buffy and Jack shine so bright in this universe, nothing shines brighter than Buffy/Ianto/Jack and what they are when they're together. The loss of that unit hurts almost worse than the loss of Jack/Ianto in canon TW - and trust me when I say that loss hasn't diminished since the time that CoE aired.
Either way - thanks for sharing this. Your writing is addicting, as always, and I appreciate the time that goes into every new project. Seriously - thanks for sharing.

I like how you describe the way they copted with Ianto's death. And the consequences of time-travel, the absence of yearning. And the cross of their timeline. I can't wait to read more.
As usual, I'm at a loss for words after reading one of your stories. So, instead of a proper review, here are a few words that come to mind. Awesome, Amazing, Melancholy, Marvelous, Sad, Sombre, Wistful, Wonderful. Absolutely Brilliant! Can't wait for the sequel.
