I love your response to the challenge! It was smooth to read and I'm super happy that you picked Nick to be the one to find him. Your interpretation has a lot of promise and I really hope that you won't leave it as a one-shot. P.S. I really love that you included Drusilla; she was always one of my favorites and is a great plot device. Thanks,
Kit

either a very good opening or an excellent drabble .... either/or - well done. If you continue, I'll keep it on the add list, if not, well, at least I know I've read this.

Review of chapter "White Knight Lost in Vegas" from missinglink
Review:
Good opening or drabble if you let it stay as is. Problem is that you hint at more with what you have Dru imply so would wonder if you have an idea of what you wanted Xan to be able to stop.

The concept is good for a premise. I wouldn't get bogged down with the toddler thru tween years of Xan's second go round. Maybe him getting adopted by one of the group from CSI and him making odd comments or insights. These can easily be done in flashes of time or scenes that don't require the heavier plot and flow that an epic might entail. It also would allow you to get to the meat of things sooner, that being him reaching whatever age needed where he can either do as Dru planned and help Angel or go and muck things up big time by trying to affect his and the gang's problems at Sunnydale with a second go round.

Couple of things to consider if you choose the later option. 1) What timeframe is he showing up in Vegas? This will affect how old he will be when he changes things in Sunnydale. 2) Does he still look the same once he grows up? You could have an issue of two Xanders, just one with memories of things that are to happen. 3) Does he bring the CSI people into the dark or just have them skim by it? You can play it either way, but if you do have them in the know you will need to include the reveal in the timeline so as to show their awareness and it can set up a fun scene of the whole exposition part of proving the nighttime baddies (like proving magic to Carter in all the Stargate Xovers).

Best of luck if you do try and do this. There is some room to make this either epic or moderate, but if you commit don't sell the plot short. Do at least try and give it a good reason to be read. Later.

It's a good start, I'll keep track of it to see where it leads. ~smirks~ I can't wait to see how "tangled" the CSI's get with this.

Keep it up. It's always good to follow the muses.
