This was interesting. I always thought that since Angel regretted Drusilla more than any of his other children (with the possible exception of Sam), that if River reminded him of her, he'd avoid her, but you do make a good case for the opposite. Bravo.
Also, another Angel on Serenity story! There just aren't enough of these! Welcome to the club!

Unless it got destroyed, somewhere in the Slayer Museum, even later than that, there will be a display case--with a ribcage in it.
Underneath, there will be a plaque: "It's finally been done. The fit is horrible, by the way." Beneath it will be a list of people who had assisted Slayers, the very first of whom was Xander Harris.
The case is a display of the Hat of Destiny.
