Review of chapter "If Home is Really Where the Heart Is" from OtteryLexa
Review:
This collection of scenes from the aftermath of war was so very moving. I cried right the way through it. BYOT, indeed.
Comments from author:
Oh, thank you. This odd - slightly changed - world was fully formed in my brain and I am delighted it touched you. Although that does sound kinda wrong *laughs* and I suppose I shouldn't be delighted that you cried. *snort*

(Oh, and just so you know this was only part of a series. There were loads more - well two fic collection, but loads of chapters - bits after this!)

Thanks again for taking the time to review and I apologize for my late response.

Review:
I feel like I'm shortchanging you when all I can think of is the word 'GUH'. Oh, hey, beautiful and awesome and exhilarating work.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL FRED FINDS HER WESLEY! *bright grin* (*feels a bit odd saying that when I have Wes - eventually - shipping both Ari and Kate from NCIS in my own story - Fred and Illyria gave him a bit of a warm-up for them, you see...*)

...I bet you he'll be Pansy and Percy's kid...*giggles*

*dives off into the next part*
Comments from author:
Oh, thank you so much. I have been neglecting my own writing a bit lately but comments like this make me want to jump back in.

I will tell you now though, Fred will get some lovein' but it won't be Pansy and Percy's kid - they still have to get there stuff together before any of that happens and Fred's already a teenager. Don't want to say any more because it will give too much away.

Thanks so much for reviewing, Angelfirenze and I hope you enjoy the next bit.

Review of chapter "Good Intentions" from Angelfirenze
Review:
Oh, Molly, you're such a pain in the ass and you don't even realize it. I could happily strangle you, but it's not like you're TRYING to be a controlling...*doesn't say it...*

That was an amazing peek into Molly's (demented) head. So much bravo! I love her denial about George and Lee. Hee! Oh, and of course Harry and Ginny.

To quote Ricky Fitts, "Never underestimate the power of denial."
Comments from author:
Oh dear, now I really want you to get to the chapter later where Charlie and Molly talk. I feel like if I say anything else I would give it away. *laughs*

Thanks for the review, Angelfirneze. I'm glad you've picked the story up again (I thought I remembered your name there from before and looked it up). I really wanted to explain Molly's mindset since so much seems to be because of her or her influence on people. I'm glad it worked/made sense to you. :)

Review:
I have absolutely adored this series of peeks into Fred's life and the lives of those around her. The future you've built for these folks is gorgeous. I've been moved and misty-eyed after many of them; thank you for that. You can cram so much poignancy into such short pieces, it's amazing.

Thank you! I'm on to the next part of the story. :)
Comments from author:
Thank you for your lovely review. I fell a bit in love with all of the characters as I wrote them. I realized every time I started writing someone I had barely considered before, I would leave it thinking - this is my favorite character. And it happened over and over again. *laughs*

It delights be that I was able to show some of that in my writing - how much I grew to love them, that is. Rowling set up a fascinating world and has some awesome characters, they just all have the potential for so much more when you poke at them.

I sincerely hope you enjoy the next part as well!

Review of chapter "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter" from Angelfirenze
Review:
Well, damn, I want to cry and I immediately remembered the spring-loaded decapitating toaster that assisted before one died of shock. *sighs and continues this heartbreakingly awesome story*

Note: Molly gets on my damned nerves with that dictation of other people's lives crap. I wish so many people didn't take it lying down just because of who she is. She doesn't have the right to do it.
Comments from author:
*laughs* I think that toaster really left an impact on me in the Angel series. It seems now that any story I have with Fred in it, I include at least passing reference to the thing. :)

And Molly, well....let's just say that I've noticed on re-reads that some of my Molly characteristics have similarities to people I have witnessed in my life...... And I have noticed many people have a harder time standing up against family sometimes than they would others.

Anyways, thank you for taking the time to review. I appreciate it. :)

Review of chapter "If Home is Really Where the Heart Is" from Gideon
Review:
Aww such a grown up little girl- eagerly awaiting the start of her own magical education :)
Comments from author:
She just wants to go and be able to soak up all that knowledge. Add it to the science. Press blend. *giggles*

Anyway, Hogwarts - that is what the next bit is about.

Thanks for reviewing!

Harry really is bad at friend making isn't he?
Comments from author:
Yup. *laughs* Well, you gotta remember, he kinda fell into his friendships with both Ron and Hermione.

Review of chapter "A Vague Disclaimer is Nobody's Friend" from Angelfirenze
Review:
Um...I can't think of a way to compliment this chapter without swearing copiously in great glee. *takes a deep breath* I think I'll just stop there because what I said was entirely true. Second favorite, totally.
Comments from author:
Don't tell, but I'm kinda in love with my new crop of Hogwarts' teachers.

Review of chapter "Trick of the Light" from Angelfirenze
Review:
Damn. I can't kill Harry because you'll have to use Dark Magic to bring him back to life for the duration of the story. But, so help me, if he doesn't get his head out of his ass, I'm sending him back to the Dursleys and let him stay with them for an entire week. See how the dumbass likes that.
Comments from author:
He he, if you killed Harry would that stop the entire rest of my story or only the version of it you are reading on your computer? There were many threats of violence upon Harry's being as I originally posted, it always surprised and amused me because I never saw him as deep down a bad guy in my story. Turned around, confused, kind of an ass sometimes, needing to make his own decisions, and really really finding it necessary for people to spell things out bluntly to him without subtlety, yes. But, a bad guy, no.

Well, that turned into a mini-monologue of sorts. Sorry bout that. :)

Thanks for your review!

Review of chapter "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" from Angelfirenze
Review:
...So you mean to tell me Harry did the exact same shit as Lupin (whom he called a coward and later said that parents shouldn't leave their kids unless they've got to), but doesn't seem to realize it and - furthermore - is letting Molly Weasley acting like the Dursleys dictate his life? I need something heavy and hard to hit Harry in the head with. Got anything handy?

Also, huzzah for Dean and Seamus getting on with their lives, as well!
Comments from author:
....all I can say about Harry, I suppose, is read on - which I can tell from looking up at further comments that to my great delight, you are! And although definitely -not- an excuse, it is slightly more complicated than Lupin's situation (whose reaction to pregnancy actually seemed out of character to me, but, meh, I didn't write the books) since he has two families (and Harry -is- being attentive to his kids with Ginny which makes the whole situation both worse and better in some ways).

So he is an asshat now, but as you go along and he starts making his own decisions (and in the past it wasn't only the Dursley's who dictated his life, Harry, sadly, has a bit of a history of this), he becomes less asshat-y

And, I'm glad you enjoyed Dean and Seamus. They are great fun to write.

Thanks for reviewing!

Review of chapter "Not So Magical" from Angelfirenze
Review:
I think this is my favorite chapter so far. It's so amazingly powerful. Just...*sighs heavily* It's perfect in its harsh, stark, VIVID depiction and so brilliant for it. Bravo!
Comments from author:
Dennis Creevey was a character that started as a random pull as a possibility for a Muggle Studies teacher. But, when I looked at how he was before the War and than everything that happened to muggleborns during it.....and his brother.....

Well, the rest just flowed. It's no wonder he would be a dark bundle of bitterness - and he is awfully fun to write as well. Glad you enjoyed reading it.

Thanks for reviewing!

Review of chapter "If Home is Really Where the Heart Is" from Mcspender
Review:
Ya know, If Harry has romantic feelings for Seamus, then in my opinion is quite sad picture; I mean the guy falls in love with the first person who treats him like a person.
Comments from author:
Well, I get your meaning but the first person that treated him like a person would have been Luna really, not Seamus. And that's not really true either Hermione, Ron, Neville, most of the Weasley's other than Molly, etc. treated him like a person before either Seamus or Luna.

So, Seamus is the only person who will always bluntly call him on his shit, but, in my world at least, he isn't the only one to treat him like a person. I'm not trying to get defensive I was actually going through people and working it out a bit as I typed, so I apologize if it got a bit long winded. :)

Anyway, thanks for reviewing!

Love love loved this! I'm so glad you're continuing:) I can't wait for more! I can't believe Harry's into Seamus! Did NOT see that coming! (I'm a little dense) I cannot wait to see how that turns out:)
Comments from author:
I tried to leave little clues but maybe I'm more subtle than I thought I was. :) I'm so glad you're liking it though (liked it? - This bit is done, but the next collection is basically just a continuation so.... *shrug*).

Anyway, thank you for reviewing this throughout, I really appreciate it.
