Awesome. All the best Quantum Leap stories I've read have been yours. This one, however... this one was amazing and it brought me to tears. The final leap... Home!
Beautiful!

This is awesome and I loved the ending. I remember watching the finale of QL and thinking it was so sad that Sam had done all that good but never got to go home so thanks for that happily ever after :) and you just know it would take divine intervention to get Dean and Cas out of denial

So much love for this, there are no words to express how much. This whole thing was perfect. Sams and Cas and Bobby and oh, Balthazar! Even the slight impressions of Dean in there was so great, and I loved how everything came together and Joshua is awesome too and this is a way better resolution to QL period. Ugh, I'm not coherent at 5 am but I hope you get the idea that I really love this story. It is so amazingly well written. Well done, you!

I have so much love for this story. Quantum Leap was one of my favorite shows and, like another reviewer said, this gave the closure that the show never had. Well-written closure at that. Looking forward to more of your writing. One question, though. Where did the Supernatural scripts that Sam read come from? Were they on the show at some point that I missed?
Comments from author:
Chuck was still writing about the Winchesters and looking for a publisher in Season 5. I took a little license and decided that Bobby had gone to his house after the apocalypse and grabbed what he could find, figuring anything a prophet wrote would be useful. I'm kind of hand-waving the reason he went in the first place.

Your portrait of Sam's degrading sense of self is really well done and you make it fit seamlessly within the Supernatural framework. This is an interesting story and engaging to read.

Thank you for writing this. It was an amazing crossover, and it finally gave some closure to the show (Quantum Leap) that I never got in the original series. I remember watching the series when it originally aired and at the end when the text came across the screen saying that Sam never made it home.... well, that was the worst ending in the world for a show. EVER. So, thank you for that.
The story was very well done, especially the parts about Sam losing his identity because of the time spent leaping, and Sam's disbelief of anything supernatural, even with the proof of Cas showing up and shoving a hand into his chest.
The only part I wasn't crazy about was the Dean/Cas thing. It was well written and makes sense in context that this may take place but I tend to prefer stories that stick to canon sexuality. (for example Willow Rosenberg would be written as gay, Dean Winchester would written straight and Jack Harkness (from Torchwood) is just written, sexuality be damned! (Jack is very Omni-sexual.) But it's not something that makes me read or not read a story, I just prefer to stick to canon in that area.
So, all that being said, and having written a much longer reveiw than I originally intended (lol) I'll just say again, thank you for writing this. It was an awesome story!
