Wonderful story! I loved the chapters where Xanders aspects were separated, that was very cute. I love Syeira she adds great depth, a good foil for Xander. Nice handling of the Witchblade's interaction with it's carriers before getting to Xander, then Xander after arriving in Sunnydale.

This is incredible, your story is detailed and full of life, your characters are beautifully drawn and just breath depth into your work, and I don't think I've ever read a more convincing or entertaining back story. Needless to say this is one of the better pieces of fiction I've read all year, and by far the best comic book adaptation I've ever seen. I hope you plan to continue this, and that your life allows you the time to write, cause man do you have a gift for it.

Thanks for the update. I like the origin story. Will there be any elements from TNT's Witchblade included in the story? As for Xanatos, will he become Xander's Kenneth Irons?

I like the origin story, very dark but quite fitting, with touches of tragic sacrifice just like the slayer story. With that much power the WB should be able to do even more than Xander could imagine, at least before the ritual. Nice work on making Ted be tougher than in canon. That worked quite well. hearing Buffy spout Watcher's Council propaganda is very sad though. I hope she isn't too mad at Xander when she realises he was there for that conversation.

I forgot to leave a review when I first read this chapter and i am very sorry about that. Love the origin for the Buffyverse witchblade even if its on the sad side. I like how Xander gets excused away as a golem but certainly is displaying personality in his armor. Will that raise a red flag with Giles or are golems expected to be a little quirky? Not enough data?
Anyways, i am still greatly enjoying this story and look forward to more.
