This part made me grin like mad:

But the bit about Tara touched my heart (clone!Jack having encountered Tara only as a spiritual being, previously, and so looking forward to the chance to get to meet her in the flesh this time, even if they don't dare try to change the way her life ended so soon).

Yes, I had a little smile on my face when I wrote that line. Leave it to Jack to give Sam a hard time even if he's not really in contact with her anymore.

Jack will always hold Tara in a special place. He knows better than to interfere with the future, but that's not to say he won't make the most of every moment he has with her.
