I'm guessing that "Orin's" assistant is non-other then William the Bloody. If I'm right then things could get quite entertaining, since James Marsters played a Nietzschean ambassabor on Andromeda so a bit of mistaken identity could be in order. Bonus points if you come up with a reason for the resembelance.
