Review of chapter "Epilogue" from EmberQuill
Review:
I love everything about this story. Great characterization and a great plot. I especially liked the bit with Q and Dawn in the last chapter.

Any chance of a sequel? At least Dawn coming to visit Buffy?

I just wanted to drop by and commend you on a superb story. I was very moved by your nuanced depiction of a future Buffy. Your tale was complex with rich characters and a deft handling of intricate plot lines. Thank you for sharing your work with the rest of us. It helped give me a kick in the butt in terms of writing again and I've definitely been better for it.

Review:
Ah, I haven't read this in quite the while. Shame. This is/was a great fic, and I personally loved the last chapter staring Q and DawnKey. In fact, I really believe that you could make a squeal to this staring them. Oh, and just how hard was it to get the word count on this fic to be be exactly one hundred thousand? Or was that completely accidental? Well, thanks for writing this, now to put this om my recs list, bye for now.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from Starfox
Review:
I usually don't like Star Trek or the comicverse, but I liked this story very much. Buffybot and Buffy were portrayed very well, sa was Spike, and the insertion of all three into the Star Trek era not just made a lot of sense, but also was central to the plot. So, kudos for a geat story!

Review of chapter "Inferior" from DieselDriver
Review:
Like your story a lot but there seems to be a need for additional editing and proofreading. There are a few missing words in various places and also I'm curious about this line:

"The last thing she’d expected when she’d entered stasis all those years ago was that she’d be playing King Kong in a spaceship." King Kong climbed the outside of a building. Wouldn't "Donkey Kong" be more appropriate?

Mostly I'm enjoying the story to much to stop and comment but that one kind of bothered me. But I'm weird anyway so what do I know?

Thanks for sharing it with us
Chris
Comments from author:
I haven't played anything with Donkey Kong in a long while...but I remember him as already being at the top and throwing barrels at the plumbers who were doing the actual climbing. Of course, there has probably been an entire world of Donkey Kong related lore since then, but it's a small reference pool. Admittedly, Buffy is a little small to be doing a Kong impression, at least without being in a village of smurfs, but at least Kong did his own climbing.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from hjdevnull
Review:
Nice story! I really enjoyed this, despite not really being familiar with either Star Trek or the Borg. You did a good job of achieving closure with this specific story yet still leaving things open for a sequel if you so chose. Well-written and nicely paced, as well, I never felt like I was getting info-dumped or anything like that. Thank you for taking the time to write this story!

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from MarcusSLazarus
Review:
Interesting idea, I’ll give it that.

Buffy being connected to the Eugenics Wars is certainly original, and the circumstances of the fall of the Slayers after the fall of magic are certainly plausible, as was Buffy’s reasons for going into suspended animation rather than staying behind to die. Her response to the Federation might be a bit cynical- she’s shown up and seen life on one ship and she’s already making judgements?-, but considering what happened to her before she left Earth, ‘cynical’ is probably the best perspective to have right now (Although I would have thought that some additional information about the finer details of the Prime Directive should be considered, such as the dangers of manipulating or influencing developing cultures by giving them resources they aren’t ready for), and there’s certainly such other interesting moments as her complicated emotional reaction to the Buffybot or her later bout with Worf to make up for that.

Her assistance during Sarek’s breakdown was particularly effective as a means of exploring her willingness to assist the Federation even if she has some issues with the rules of the society, and Spike’s return was certainly well-handled (I’d have preferred Angel, but that’s mainly because I like him better than Spike rather than any flaws in the plot), and the subsequent trial was also well-handled, with Spock’s brief appearance serving as an interesting opportunity for Buffy to bond with a legend.

Some parts of the new history seemed to initially be the result of carelessness- the crew already knowing how old Guinan is, that kind of thing-, but the idea of Buffy having had an impact on Bajor was certainly interesting, and Shelby becoming ‘Locuta’ in Picard’s place was another interesting touch even before you started to explore how she would differ from Locutus, and the final clash of Slayers VS Borg was brilliantly handled even without the subtle twist of adding Seven of Nine to the equation.

The aftermath created a very interesting set of circumstances, to say the least; with science and magic apparently ‘destined’ to come together in this world, it should be fascinating to see what happens if you write any more stories in this world (Particularly regarding the Dominion War; how will the Founders react to magic?)

Like the way you point out about the pressure the Federation puts on people to conform.

And at the same time be willing to sell others out in the name of not getting their hands dirty or expediency
