Review of chapter "Chapter 1: The Betrayal Equation" from starwolf
Review:
that was well done. Leonard will need to get his head out of his ass to square things with Dawn. this could definitely have legs for more chapters. thanks

Review:
interesting twists in Dawns life ^_^
Comments from author:
Maybe she can keep Penny from becoming the caricature that the show's writers are making her. Seriously, a couple episodes ago, they had her unable to use glue to make jewelry! She had a short-lived business making Penny Blossoms, for crying out loud! Sorry for the off-topic rant.

I love it. I am very very glad that Dawn explained exactly how big a deal this was to what was done to Sheldon I agree it was not funny of what those three did to him.

Review of chapter "Chapter 1: The Betrayal Equation" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Now that I'm an actual TBBT-watcher (which I wasn't in 2011) and a bona fide Sheldon fan (and more than a bit of a Shenny-'shipper), this story means so much more to me. Thanks for letting Dawn translate Sheldon's feeling of betrayal into something that both she and Penny could viscerally identify with, and for Dawn effectively putting an end to Leonard's efforts to 'score' with Penny while ignoring his supposed best friend's pain and shrugging off his own perfidy.

I'd love to read a continuation, if you ever find the time and inspiration to re-watch more season 3 TBBT and write Dawn into more story-lines.
Comments from author:
I'm just *stunned* that a geek show like TBBT claims to be didn't have more of a fallout for them for their actions. Oh yeah, if Musie comes back to this, Dawn certainly is going to be sticking her nose into more of the infuriating episodes that have come up.

Review:
love it. I hope you will write more.
Comments from author:
Yeah, just have to go back and watch some episodes from that season to find good ones for Dawn to be part of. Darn the bad luck!

Review of chapter "Chapter 1: The Betrayal Equation" from sjyu
Review:
I agree with you. I really liked Leanord and the gang but that episode really made me angry. No true scientist would mess up someone elses reseach like that, unless they wanted to destroy the other person's career. It's almost criminal in the scientific community.

Love how you had Dawn explain how bad it was so Penny could understand.
Comments from author:
I just saw a story on ff.net where the terrible trio got what was coming to them, professionally-wise. Crap, can't remember the title now. But it was a Shenny fic. They were basically demoted to janitors until they could be trusted again. And they only got that much because Sheldon asked for leniency for them since he knew he was difficult to be alone with in the Arctic.

Review:
great short!
Sheldon is my favorite character in tBBT. glad that dawn stuck up for him :D
Comments from author:
He's a pain in the butt, but they knew that before they left. I just watched the scene where Leonard was the one to talk the other two into going and wished that Howard had listened to his instincts and convinced Raj to do the same. (I don't mind hating Leonard)

Review of chapter "Chapter 1: The Betrayal Equation" from AMistake
Review:
Thank you, thank you very much for writing out a more reasonable version of the aftermath of the Arctic Expedition. It's not that I've even watched it, but all the things I've heard about it so far isn't making me feel any enthusiasm for it--only depressive. As someone who lives and breathes in the academia, I almost couldn't believe what happened. Umm, prank? On a mission that is definitely a lot more high-profile than just another day at the lab or in class? That probably involves not a little outside funding? And once there, sabotaging a colleague's work with complete and blatant disregard to academic integrity? That is an action worse than murder in some levels, as the ripple of shame/tainted records and whatnot is going to keep catching up for a long time, and might even ruin a career or chances at tenure. Sit-com or not, it _really_ isn't funny.

Thanks again for writing this. I enjoyed Dawn's well-reasoned snarkiness very much.
Comments from author:
What I don't understand is why the technical advisors were okay with the sabotage. It's one of the few times on the show when I thought that Leonard was a bigger a** than Sheldon could ever be.

Nice. I kind of like Leonard, but when you put it in this light, he comes off a bit of an ass.
Comments from author:
There are very few times when I think that Leonard is worse than Sheldon, but this certainly is one of them. Still love Sheldon most despite his flaws.

Darn, I have only seen all of season1 and 2 and then random ones...I know the guys did something to Sheldon but not sure what...guess I need to hit up google!
Comments from author:
I just couldn't believe scientists would do that to another scientist. Weird thing is, it should have destroyed their reputations more than his, but it was just swept under the rug on the show.

Awws, I liked the way Dawn worked as a translator between the two worlds for Penny and took poor Sheldon's side.

He's a pain, but he didn't deserve that.

Review of chapter "Chapter 1: The Betrayal Equation" from littleoldme
Review:
I was excited about the idea of Dawn living with Penny, but this was heavy handed enough that I found it a disappointment. Even before your author's note at the end, it read very much as "author using the characters to make a point," rather than an actual story.
Comments from author:
Somebody should have done it on the show. No way could they have done something like that in real life and not have it damage *all* their reputations in the scientific community. And Leonard's reaction to it all made me wish for Penny to wise up and castrate him.

More, please? Pretty please with a mint chocolate cupcake on top? (Had one today. Very, very yummy.)

There needs to be more Buffy/Big Bang fic, and more Big Bang fic in general. If you make it Sheldon/Penny I will seriously love you forever.
Comments from author:
I'll have to find some good episodes - even if I have to mix up the seasons to do it.
