Great story. I really enjoyed it and hated when it ended, proving that it ended in just the right place - leaving me wanting more. In fact, I was still considering what would happen next while I was at work the day after, which is unusual for me. Thanks for writing it.

I loved this story! It was so incredibly sweet! Plus I think you've captured Luna's view of the world really well, it was incredible :)

Review:
Okay, the first word that came to mind when I finished this was 'Sweet', but then I look and see that everyone else has already told you that it's sweet....
Aw, heck with it: This was incredibly sweet.

I love Luna.
Lovelovelove her.
Fantastic little story (though I'm left with a feeling of unease about how that 'anemic' roomate thing is going to work out).

Hrm, I never thought of doing a sequel, but the idea is intriguing. Maybe one day, if I ever finish my WIPs! Thanks!

This was soooo sweet! But I swear Luna was so NIAVE! ...Or it could just be the fact that she's British... But even I'M PARTIALLY British (thank you, Dad) and -I- understand it!!! ...Of course, I was corrupted by being born on this soil you call "American". *sigh* I'll get over it... Hopefully.. Anyways, uber-great. Any chance of a sequel? Luna and Tara meet Wills? Do I see a possible love triangle in their future? Or even -dare I say it?- a threesome? *grins wickedly* I'm a dreamer, and a perv. This has been noted, discussed, and ignored by all who know me. You'll get used to it. More, please?

Comments from author:
I don't see Luna as niave, not for where she came from. If she was a pureblood, which I intimated, she wouldn't have much contact with actual muggles. book learning certainly doesn't do it justice.

How is it possible that no one's reviewed this yet? I guess that means I have the distinct honour of being the first.

Darling, like always your delicacy and deftness in portraying characters amazes me. You manage these turns of phrase, these compilations of words, that are like normal everyday words but in your capable hands give us a breaktaking crystallization of that character's essence. I wanna be you when I grow up. Failing that, I'm just gonna imitate you and hope I can do half as well.

That was hysterical, and at the same time very sweet. I think I actually like your Luna better than the "real" one JKR writes, though one can hope JKR's will develop in the same direction you've taken yours. If you felt like continuing this, I'd love to see more! Of course, entirely up to you, it's a lovely story as it stands.

A lovely fic!! I love this bit of philosophizing by Luna - “I’m not lost. I know exactly where I am”. I never cared for this season but I really found myself enjoying the outside perspective. This also gave me a different look at Tara – who all too often was overshadowed and practically run over by Willow, who was a much stronger character, both in development and writing. Very nicely done – a wonderful holiday present for all of us! ~Vesica

That was so sweet. I really liked the explanation of the difference between the US and the UK, great job on Luna's dad. A really interesting insight of Luna, quite funny too. Loved Riley's cameo. And yes, the Luna/Tara bits are so sweet. Picture me wearing a slightly foolish-looking grin.

Very sweet. Loved the succession of roomies - the last one - is she a vamp or a vamp addict?

These are just fabulous. You've captured Luna's sweetness without making her sacharine and your description of her confusion is hilarious.

Wow...... wow.......

Thank you!

I just loved unwrapping this little prezzie, and I just loved the story!

Specifically, I liked the way you explained the "American Hogwarts" issue, and also how Luna was in the Wicca group.... :)

Wow. It's amazing. Seriously. I don't think I've ever read a Tara/Luna fic... and strangely enough I can really see myself reading more of them after this. It was great the way you had Luna not fitting in, even if she did excellent in Muggle studies at Hogwarts that's no guarantee for a life as a muggle in California.

Just fantastic.
