Just reread this series over the last week and remembered why I enjoyed it so much the first time around. I love the idea of Willow/Wes and of course love the interaction between Xander, House, and Cordy. I hope you will be inspired to add more to this story in the future. Even if you don't thank you for posting this fun story.

Wow. Thank you so much. I've been struggling to write ANYTHING for a while now and finally started digging out of it by writing whatever would come... but that's good news... I think I'm finally out of the funk I've been in since my dad died. The last thing of any length I wrote was when he was ill, and since then, I've had to fight for every chapter... it will be two years in two days... I think my gift of writing has finally decided to return. I intend to finish what was my very first Xander story -- and I look forward to adding to the tiny Willow Wes collection on tth. I hope it will come soon and that you won't be disappointed.

Can I rate this 100 out of 10? It really doesn't seem fair to only rate this 10/10. Especially since I've been trying to find a good Willow/Wesley story ever since I learned they were married. Bravo for you.

Anyway, I don't think you had started this when I reviewed and recommended Xander's New House. So, good job on this new one and I hope you post more soon because your last one was excellent.

Wow. Big, huge, smile! Thank you so much! I'm not sure I've ever been rated 100 out of 10 before. This is just what my floundering muse needs. I should be back writing soon... I usually find my muse in overdrive when I get really busy, and real life is suddenly becoming insane again. Anyway, Nate, thank you for this shot in the arm. I've actually been working off and on on this story... guess it's time to try to put some of it together into a viable chapter and start posting again.

EDIT: I never did understand why there were so few Wesley/Willow stories... It's not as if they haven't paired Willow with other males... I think they make a very interesting couple because they have some intriguing parallels and yet their lives are on the face of it very different. Both characters are just fascinating. The fact of the Hannigan/Denisof pairing in real life just makes it even more interesting to me to play with.

Wow the sequel didn't go where I thought it would. Mind you I just found this sequel. The introspection of each of the characters is extremely fascinating to read. The writing, is of course exceptional & I look forward to further chapters when posted.

I do hope that's not too much of a disappointment. What the muse wants is to examine the 'post war' life... kind of like the after China Beach life that was explored a little in that series. 'Winning' a war may feel great, but there is always a great deal of 'dealing with' that comes later and for most people, that actually is most of their lives... plus, of course, the other real life stuff like building relationships... in Xander's case, he has to get to know House, and I'll be exploring how that relationship changes both their lives... so look for more 'House' crossover with time... I will do my best not to disappoint too, too much. Sadly, however, there probably won't be lots of big demony moments, though given who we're dealing with, there will always be something going on.

Sorry if you didn't enjoy the Cordy/House flirtation... The age may be a bit much, but Cordy is the one person who could put House in his place and make him enjoy it. I think there's already mental damage... She's been living in the Buffyverse for eight years... Not sure that leaves anyone 100% sane... Let's just see what happens, OK?

Great start. I was thinking that it would have been better if you had posted each section separately to get better FDK, cause each section is spot on, but also very long.

Then I realized that conventional authors write whole books with only a handful of people,if any, giving them FDK, and then they submit it to the "wolves" and hope it is well received. I don't write letters to any published authors and probably never will, yet I expect them to keep cranking out novels.

All that said, I love you stories. Command Key is still my favorite.

If you're saying that you think I should write the sections as shorter chapters, I'll consider it... In the past, when I've done that, I found the response was 'that's all there is?' Some people thought my chapters were too short.

Anyway, I'll take a look at the way the chapters are structured and if you'd like to explain what you are trying to tell me, please send me a private message. btw, I'm sure as soon as I post this, I'll figure out what it stands for, but what is FDK?

Always glad to see a new chapter of this, and I'm hopeful that Xander and Cameron's conversation about the body wanting to be the way it should be, etc., will eventually offer some clue to helping Giles and/or Cordy.

Interesting idea. I love it when readers put thoughts into my head. hmmm... It's great to hear from you as usual! I do hope solutions will appear... I have some ideas about how I'm going to deal with the Cordy situation... Will have to think about how this can apply to Giles.
