Interesting. You might get more readers if you provide a sort of prolouge and lead up at the beginning. I'm gonna keep watch on this.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I got busy this Summer and went back to school in the fall. I'm waiting for a server to finish it's updates in the lab right now and I thought I'd get back to this while I have a bit of time.

I've been adding the background bit by bit in almost every chapter. I'm doing the prologue from the perspective of the characters as they get introduced to build the bigger picture.

I'm not sure if that's enough or not.

It's something new, for me anyway. That I'm trying out.

If you're having a problem piecing it together I'll write up a separate story retelling what happened on Halloween.

I liked the explanation of why Cordelia and Joyce were in the Rift world when the others reverted.

Nice job showing Joyce's kindness and Xander's infinite support of his 'women'.

Ok, still a bit confused but the list of characters and their counterparts at the start of the chapter really helped. maybe next time you could put that in the first chapter? It is difficult to deal with such a large cast of characters in a single story so good luck! I'm glad the staff of evil lost. Good to see Cordy is just as ruthless with beheadings as she was with fashion advice. It came in handy here :)
So what impact will Buffy and the others have on the coalition forces?

Good to see some more BTVS characters even if they are not the ones I would have expected. Bad news with that staff trying to corrupt Harmony. Will Joyce recognize what the staff is? Is the real Buffy around somewhere too?
Also I am unclear if Cordy killed her mount on purpose or not? Was it evil?

Yes. Joyce was told what it was.

Real Buffy is in Sunnydale.

Cordy didn't kill her mount.

Varles is a 20 feet long tentacle monster. A minion of the Splugorth.

Very Evil.

Nice update.

So Xander and crew were not the only ones from SunnyD to be rifted. Interesting. Should be amusing when they meet up.

Still hoping for a continuation of your other Rifts stories, but as long as you keep writing something I am not complaining.
