Review of chapter "Always Alone." from Amai
Review:
I like the way you choose to handle the interaction with Spike, and I like the confusion about the bot.

One bit of concern is that Buffy says that Giles went to England right after the Doctor left, but in the a.n. before the previous story it says that Giles has already left. It makes more sense this way, because Giles left during Bargaining, which was still a ways off in the last story, so it might be a good idea to pull that note out?

You do really have a knack for finishing lines though.

I swear my downfall will be my lack of proofreading. Thank you :)

This story is a good pay-off from the earlier stories.
In terms of Doctor Who resonance, the Doctor may have been able to see that Joyce's fixed timeline on earth was short, but taking her out on a trip might not have made a difference.

Very interesting that you said that the Doctor stayed in Sunnydale for a month with Buffy-bot and friends.

Last but not least, this version of the Doctor doesn't regularly call anyone, ANYONE 'love.' It isn't in his lexicon. This means that when he uses it with Buffy it becomes her special nick-name. It is special and unique affection for her. That's kind of nice.

After watching a few seasons of Doctor Who, I finally decided to start looking for Doctor Who fanfiction. I stumbled on to this little series and I have to say, I'm hooked. I love how the Buffy/Tenth Doctor relationship is evolving. I can't wait to see how the relationship continues to progress to the point where it's the relationship we see in "Haven't I Killed You Before?"

Excellent work, can't wait to read more :)

I can't tell you how happy your review made me!

The next set is going to be quite a bit more involved so it might take me a little bit longer to post it but I'm hoping to start it tonight, actually!

Thank you so very much for your kind words and for reading! =)
