Totally in character for Dawn, winning money off a sure thing (from her point of view). Neat spin on some positive stuff to come out of the Collapse. For a minute I was worried the First Evil was involved...
While it's a great little one-shot, a short covering Kara's response to it, and maybe Clark and Bruce's, would be really interesting to read.
Still, I enjoyed it, and it's fitting that Amanda's Spirit Animal was Supergirl.

There's a little hint in the most recent story - Kara has seen vampires, what (if anything) she's doing about them I'll leave to your imagination for now.

And so we remember the ones we lost...nice to see the supernatural angle enter this series. Well written as usual, thanks for sharing!

I really liked Amanda, it's odd she doesn't make it into more stories. I'm not going to promise that there will be more supernatural stories in this sequence, I think a little goes a long way.
Good story. I think it was good, though of course Dawn was struggling to explain how Amanda died without going into the whole Hellmouth thing. So naturally after all of that, she ends up telling it all anyway.
I definitely liked the profits from Amanda noticing and remembering the Apple logo from the phone like that. Very clever!
Looking for more of this series. I'd really like to see what Kara's reaction to the story was.

I cheated slightly - as established in earlier stories, Kara's phone is something very special made by Waynetech, but probably inside an iPhone casing as its disguise.

This was a cute and even touching little story, and a nice addition to a series that surprised me in how much I've enjoyed it. Thank you for writing. :)

Great story. Supergirl comes across as having quite the curious streak. I hope it doesn't get her into trouble in the supernatural world. It does seem a bit of a stretch that she wouldn't know already though. When you can hear or see everything in a large city it would be hard to miss all the vampires and other demons, but maybe that is just LA.
Comments from author:
That's the big problem, all right. Maybe she's just been taking it all for granted, without realising that most humans aren't aware of such things.

I always mourned that Amanda -- who was so likable and interesting (more than the other Potentials, for me) -- wasn't one of those who made it out alive, but this story gives a funny, tragic, hopeful (in other words, very 'Buffyverse'-appropriate) twist to her death, allowing the successor to the Watcher's Council to fund scholarships and medical procedures, etc., through Amanda's visionary meeting with Supergirl in 2011.
Plus, it's a really neat addition to the world of "The Return".

Thanks - that's how I hoped people would see it.

Excellent, as always. I love the combination of humor, spookiness, and sadness in your story. For some reason, possibly because she was well written and acted, I remember Amanda when most of the SiTs were just cyphers. Nice to see she remembered the iphone. Lol! To misquote Dawn, I think your story would have amused her. Lol!

Amanda was great - it's a shame they killed her.
