Review of chapter "The Windmills of Your Mind" from burmafrdnow
Review:
ofthe MANY stupid things Joss did having Giles leave her like that was just about the dumbest

I understand they had to write Anthony out for a while but that was so stupid. Put him in a magical coma or something. They could have had him phone in now and then or something; but the reason was just so stupid. There were so many other ways that would have made so much more sense.
Comments from author:
Yup, just about. Even if it was because Anthony Head wanted to be with his family better resolutions might have been found.

Thanks for reviewing

I love this story, and its a good lead in to an interesting series. It features my favorite kind of Buffy: really, really good at the whole Slayer business, but also really messed up personally. I'm not much for Buffy/Willow, but this story actually opened me up to the possibility. Great work.
Comments from author:
Thanl you. I rather like this series and really ought to get back to the sequel. Most of the action planned out, now the writing to be done. I'm honoured to know you like it well enough to think about a pairing you normally dislike as acceptable.

The new updates reminded me of this wonderful series, so I have come back to reread the entire thing. I adore it very, very much and thought I should let you know, in case I've missed reviewing any of these lovely stories before.
Thank you so much for writing so well. :)
Comments from author:
Thanks for the high praise. I'll try and be more frequent in my updates, I do like this series a lot myself, it's just that W&S takes up a lot of time. I've just edited the stories by the way, to clarify some scenes. Might have been wise to do that before the update...Ah well.

Thanks for reviewing.

Nice story! I especially like the way Buffy takes the Scoobies and Giles apart, because their self-righteous attitude and their habit to interfere with her life have always annoyed me. I'm generally not a fan of B/W pairing, but it was an unexpected twist, and I appreciate being surprised!

I am sure your story would have a lot more reviews if it was Stargate, Harry Potter or something like that, meaning: easier to find! ;-)

Comments from author:
Thanks, it's not my favourite pairing either, though by no means my least favourite. I always throught the Scoobies got of rather light. Giles leaving always struck me as singularly dumb: she was on the verge of breakdown, poor and downtrodden. Excellent moment to make her fend for herself without experienced help...

Heh. Adding Stargat might over burden the poor thing. I have one Harry Potter Crossover, I think that may be enough. But more people would probably read it, yes.

Thanks for reviewing, Vid

Review:
Aww, what a sweet story :) Just as Buffy has lost all hope something happens that rekindles a chance she thought lost. I hope it doesn't blunt her newfound fighting edge!
Comments from author:
Thank you...I'm actually rather fond if it myself.

This was very nice indeed. Good stuff all around and it's fun to discover a new background for a crossover. Sequels would be greatly appreciated!
Comments from author:
The sequel is almost finished. It is longer and a touch darker.

I have one question however: while uploading this story I ran into considerable problems with the formatting, can anyone give me an easy option for converting my Word file into something that I can just upload here?

I actually started this series so that I can upload the prequel of my AU massive crossover Buffy story and the notion of formatting that monster the same way I did this one scares me a little. (The prequel is just AU.)

I want to see more of this. You have the touch for a story that I would love to read.
Comments from author:
Thank you. As stated, I'm working on the sequel. I'll also be upping my AU/crossover reworking of Buffy Season 1 to 7, part of which is also up on FF.

Review:
A very enjoyable story, thank you for posting it here. I'm only disappointed that I reached the end and saw that you listed the story as "complete". Does that mean that there is no sequel of any sorts possible? I'd very much like to see some kind of continuation of this storyline.
Comments from author:
Thank you. As stated in the introductory disclaimer, the sequel is being written and the there is a possibility of prequels. More sequels might follow as well.
