Review of chapter "Chapter 4: In a Vast Army" from Inoeth
Review:
Please continue. I'm not sure how far into the realm of comics you're going to go but so far I'm liking where this story is headed. Perhaps you could write about Buffy's slow transition into fighting humans as well and a lesser abhorrence to killing and even using modern weapons (a bullet won't kill a vamp but i'll hurt and slow it down)
Comments from author:
I do intend to continue working on this fic, but I don't expect it to be in the near future. Since one of the ideas I had for this story included the Stargate universe (which I currently don't know well enough to write fanfiction) I was considering putting it on hold until I have the time to learn that universe deeply.

Right now, however, I'm working on the Christmas wishlist and NaNoWriMo, so I don't expect to have any time in the near future.

Thanks for the encouragement though :)

Review of chapter "Chapter 4: In a Vast Army" from PATM
Review:
The Knights don't count as innocents so their dying is the result of their dogma and not worthy of regret from my point of view. They also don't seem any more effective since their tactics are going for the same result, hedge her in and kill the key. Now Batman seems especially effective what with all the wonderful toys at his disposal. This is during the Dark Knight story line? How about help for their plan to rescue themselves? Info and logistics at least. Buffy and Dawn interaction is very nicely done. I grieve for Willow and Tara, it seems doom is their only future.
Comments from author:
Batman is set after The Dark Knight, in the Nolanverse, but ignoring any comic book events.

As for the knights, you must remember that they were successfully herding B&D towards what would probably be a successful ambush spot. They just failed to consider Batman. They're not all gone yet, and they may start to play more aggressively once they realize their quarry could escape.

As for Tara, well, I do have an idea to solve her problem, but it's a LONG way in the future. As in, one or two books after this storyline, presuming I still have motivation to continue.

Review of chapter "Chapter 3: One Soldier" from LadyGoldenLake
Review:
I really liked it. Can't wait for the next chapter. Besides I am a sucker for all types of Buffy/Bruce~Batman Pairings.

Plzzz!!! Make a pairing!!

Love

Mia
Comments from author:
I hate to disappoint, but I doubt there will be any pairings in this story, at least in the near future. The basic plan is to have Buffy and Dawn moving all over the country, in an effort to mix in a large number of crossovers. While they will be coming across Batman while in Gotham, they may not exactly be around long enough to become best buds.

Sorry :(

Review of chapter "Chapter 2: I Just Suck at Undercover" from warslick
Review:
And does that make me the number 3 tracker then? This story seemed to be an interesting concept when it came out and it still seems to be one today. I do hope we slowly find out more about demon free Gotham in the back story as we forward the time line of the story. I am interested in seeing where this is going because I am not sure if I have ever seen any story with Buffy interacting with mutants in the way you seem to have done so far. Just keep plugging away at the story even if there are some time delays involved between releases.
Comments from author:
Again, nice to see that someone is enjoying the story. Hopefully, the next chapter should be out relatively soon. Also, at some point in the next few chapter, I'll start to bring in some conflict.

Thanks for the review. :)

Review of chapter "Chapter 2: I Just Suck at Undercover" from Luhh
Review:
I really like the idea of this story. I'm one of the 3 traking this story, have been since chapter one. I've never seen someone do a Buffy crossover with this angle and is really refreshing to finally see some new ideas. Besides, you are a great writter, your voices are so realistics that I can really see the characters from the show in here. I hope you keep writting and update soon. You should make bigger chapters, though, so the story can move on a little faster. And don't worry about the non cannon parts of X-men and Batman =)
Ah, are you planing any parings? I'm kind curious =D ;*
Comments from author:
I probably won't attempt any pairing, at least, not in a large way, in this story. Since this is my first story, and human relationships are a rather complicated thing, I really don't think I'm up to it.

Having Buffy pretend to be a mutant always seems, to me, to be a fairly intuitive thing for her to do. Gene was inspired from the super-speed mutant from x-men 3, to attempt to show why it wouldn't always work.

I will try to write chapters as long as possible, but when under writer's block, it's really hard to formulate a large chapter. I'll keep trying, though :)

Thanks for the review.

As one of the people tracking you, at least you are still posting. I, personally, have had writers block for over two years. I do like your story though and think that it is worth the wait(with tracking, if you post a few days before I get back on, then I don't miss it lol!) Not really good with the words of encouragement but your story is interesting and i don't spend my time thinking 'who acts like that' nor are you moving your characters at too quick of a pace. I am looking forward towards your next update.
Comments from author:
Nice to see that some people are enjoying the story. I, of course, try my best to keep everyone as in-character as possible, but since I'm not Joss Whedon, I'm not perfect. It's good to hear that people think I'm doing a nice job so far.
