Review:
I read this before, but to my shame I did not review.

It's a nice story. To me, it was absolutely clear that it was harry Potter. I was less sure who he was looking for (I assumed it was Wesley, but it could have been one of Anne's other refugees).

And you seem to have a preference for lesser used characters. Are you perhaps planning to do any Kate Lockley in the future?
Comments from author:
I don't mind that you didn't review before since you are reviewing now and you have so kindly reviewed quite a few of my other stories as well! So thank you!

And I am glad it was clear to you. Harry wasn't actually looking for Wesley in my mind - Justin would have just been one of Anne's other random kids. I tried to refer to that somewhat by this part:

{“You gotta picture?” he asked. Gunn already had an idea in his head anyway of who it was – there weren’t really too many super posh English dudes in L.A. that hung around homeless shelters.}

You certainly are correct though, that I do indeed have a preference for lesser used characters. In nearly every show I watch the main characters will continually irritate me and it will be the background/secondary characters that make me fall in love with it. As for Kate Lockley, I hadn't really given any real thought to her but now that you've mentioned her it seems to be poking around my brain.

Huh.

I've seen her handled a variety of ways by other authors but....hmmm, I might have to check out the FFA's on her.

Wow, Justin had a scar just like Harry Potter's, too?! . With HP's luck he's looking for Wesley. Who, come to think of it, was a lot like Percy.
Comments from author:
I guess I wasn't describing terribly well because that was Harry Potter looking for Justin because he was one of the muggle-borns who had to run during the whole Death Eater-controlled ministry time. I didn't want to imply that Justin had a scar, just that when you go by the generalizations of "brown hair, white, British," you're covering a lot of ground.

It wasn't until after he said that, that Harry put his hand though his hair and sort of accidentally flashed the scar (another identifying feature). Sorry, for now over explaining, just wanted to clear that bit up.

Thanks so much for reviewing, Allen Pitt.
