Great chapter... I'm currently tossing up between encouraging you to spend a decent amount of time on Xander's exploration of the unknown and requesting that you have him arrive at Earth as expediently as possible.
Judging from the way you've written this chapter though, I'm going to have to go with the former. Please feel free to have Xander earn his title of 'The Stellar Wanderer' for a bit before sending him to Earth. Who knows, he might even wind up with a reputation :)

Hey, I just started this story and it shows promise. I'm a big fan of pretty much any Xander story and I can't wait to see where this goes. There is some mild concern of Mary Sue issues, but I even like a lot of those so no worries. Hope to read more soon.

I find the characterization to well done. Though I dont believe it necessary to point out that he is no longer human quite so often. Tan again that may be your way of showing his dealing with the change. Other than that I find this new chapter to be a nice add to your story so far. I await the answer to the mystery that is the "cloud"

I was very pleased to see that you updated this story. Xander is adjusting nicely and it's nice to see that he doesn't act like an asshat when interacting with Q. I can't wait for the next update.
ps. I'd love to see Xander geek out if he meets Batman in Gotham.
It's cool that Xander is taking protecting his power seriously.
