Review of chapter "Chapter One" from (Past Donor)Jewel
Review:
Truly excellent. I could almost see Harry rubbing his hands just like Montgomery Burns in Simpsons :)
Comments from author:
Yep. Dumbledore doesn't like it in the least when the situation is turned around. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from twlight
Review:
Well I have to say that the old man really deserves what Harry is trying to do. I love this.
Comments from author:
Yeah, Dumbledore really deserves to be beaten into the ground, and then have salt poured over the spot. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from rocky
Review:
Read this once a long time ago but had forgotten how funny it was. Read it again and can't stop laughing.

good one shot

good ditching on the headmaster

good ditching on Snape

good shocking Molly

good addition of Ginny's thoughts in a manner that shows cannon Ginny without adding too much 'pro/ginny' or 'anti/ginny' that seems to be in most of HP nowadays

good addition of Ron that shows his humor which I think is one of the rarely fanfic used characteristics thought of.
Comments from author:
Very glad to learn that you enjoyed the story so much. ;-)

And seeing Dumbledore out into the same position he always tries to manipulate others into is a very good thing, indeed. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from kdakmmt
Review:
It's all fine and dandy up to the point where dumbledork has to sacrifice for the greater good....lol
Comments from author:
Very true. I've noticed that most of the people who talk about making sacrifices to help things go the right way, are talking about *other* people making the sacrifices - people who are not the speaker.

Frakin' hypocrites, all of them.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Cateagle
Review:
::snicker:: Truly a beautiful job of turning the tables on the old manipulator; he doesn't have a good choice, just has to pick which he considers "less bad". I wish him luck (ill luck, but luck none the less).
Comments from author:
Giving Albus a choice with 'Uber-Suck' and 'Even More Uber-Suck' as his only options is only fair, to my mind, since he's screwed with so many people's lives. Especially since he never really gave anyone else even the illusion of a choice regarding what he wanted them to do. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Oakheart
Review:
Oh, this is GREAT! I shared it with my wife as soon as I finished it. 'The Greater Good' has always stuck in my (metaphoric) craw when a certain aged manipulator nods sagely and bemoans the inevitability of Harry making the sacrifice. Well Played; Well stated. Grin.

Glad you enjoyed the story. ;-)

I've always wanted to shove Dumbleore's teeth down his throat when he takes about the necessity of making sacrifices. As far as I'm concerned, the British Wizarding World should be burnt to the ground, and the ashes salted, and all memory of it allowed to fade into oblivion.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from ChiVayne
Review:
Quite correct. People who speak of sacrifices for the greater good almost invariably mean the sacrifices of others, not self-sacrifice.
Comments from author:
Yes, indeed. I generally refer to them as hypocrites. ;-)

Love it! LOVE. IT. I think that's the first time I've ever seen that one turned back on Stumbledoor. Nicely done, my friend.

BWAHAHAhahahaha!!!!!!! }:->
That was absolutely fucking hilarious. Well done. Not very likely I'll admit but certianly enjoyable to read. Pity it's not a joke you could turn into an epic fic of 50k or more.
Comments from author:
Thanks.

And yes, this works best as a short one-shot.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from ReadsaLot
Review:
This pegged and broke my AwesomeFiclet-o-Meter. Placing Dumbassdore into the exact position he so easily threw so many others...

And worst of all - he'll lost everything no matter which way he turns. If he refuses, that's the end of it. But if he says he'll do it and then harbors sufficient resistance to the idea when he casts that spell, I think it'd fail - and have the exact same result as if he'd refused in the first place. Dumbassdore would be seen perfectly willing to send *every one and everything else to their deaths* so long as he remains as the guiding goodly headmaster of it all.

Totally awesome.
Comments from author:
Thanks.

And there is no way Dumbledore cannot lose in this scenario. ;-)
