Review of chapter "Kitchen Confidences" from BerserkerNW
Review:
Cute! I hadn't noticed how freakishly similar Eliot and Beck were before I read this, but now that you've pointed it out... Yeah, I can see it happening. Thanks for sharing!

I don't normal read fics with crossovers I am unfamiliar with. BUT. This was quite good. Just enough background that I wasn't lost in the characters and a good story to boot. Nice.

Review of chapter "Kitchen Confidences" from (Current Donor)Sulien
Review:
Ooooh... Fabulous, as always! Though I don't know the crossover, it sounds very much like something I would enjoy to hell and gone. I'm afraid I also didn't catch the references they made back and forth. Any possibility I could get you to append a list for the less well viewed folks like me?

Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again: it's a true pity we really shouldn't show fan fiction to actors and any PTB, because I'd bet a mortgage payment that the entire Leverage crew would absolutely adore the stuff you've written about them!

ETA: Ah ha, The Rundown! I looked it up and now have it at the top of my 'to watch' list! Thanks!
Comments from author:
*grin* Glad you enjoyed it! The Rundown is pretty fun, for an action movie. Beck is pretty much a proto-Eliot, except for the fact that he's played by Dwayne Johnson (who isn't exactly hard to look at, either.)

The two they reference internally are Equilibrium (Christian Bale, with the gun katas) and Wanted (James McAvoy, with the bullet bending). Neither one's exactly happy, but they contain entertaining amounts of improbable action and eye candy?

I just love these 2 fandoms, so I had to give this crossover a chance...and I'm so glad that I did. I think you did a great job relating Beck & Eliot. :)

A great buddy story with a well thought of cast. I admit I would have placed Elliot as the alpha.
Comments from author:
I'm not sure what you mean by "the alpha". If you read anything along those lines into the story, it wasn't intentional. But I'm glad you enjoyed the story regardless.
