Review of chapter "Chapter 10" from JonnWolfe
Review:
Interesting concept. Rather like it. Have a strange suspicion that Harry's inner magic is going to spike whenever he leaves the Hellmouth. Hope you come back to this.

> “He’s right. Guns can’t kill vampires. All we would be doing is offering up more victims. I have to
> stop them,” Buffy said.

Well, stakes don't work on vampires either, after all. Take some lead, alloy it with antimony, shape it into a nice, sharp stake and stab a vampire in the heart with it. Voila! Positive proof that stakes are useless for killing vampires.

I'm enjoying your story. Given Buffy's habit of mangling names (I believe deliberately), I can see here having a field day with Sirius and Remus about Voldemort. Xander possibly as well, treating it the same way as "Frau Blucher".

Review of chapter "Chapter 10" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Nicely done. Good pickup, story is flowing smoothly from one segment to the next with no unexplained gaps, need anyone say more?

And Giles isn't exactly familiar with Black or Lupin other than hearing that drivel about Black being a mass murderer, but he's actually met Albus Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, so I guess that's close enough...

Next chap, we find out why they want Buffy in England instead of Harry...unless I miss my guess.

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Last chap Harry was introduced to the Voldemort prophecy, and now the Wizarding World has finally caught up with Harry. It's not like he could have stayed away for much longer anyway, but to keep himself under the radar for as long as he has is nothing short of what Christians would call a miracle.

I wonder if Giles will be personally familiar with either Black or Lupin, or they with him. Looking forward to the next one, so I'll make you a deal. You keep writing, I'll keep reading?

Do we have an accord?

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from ChiVayne

“As if I would hurt my own godson?” - Although he isn't necessarily aware of it, given how Harry's uncle, aunt, and cousin treat him, claiming a relationship with Harry is not the best way to convince anyone of good intentions.

this story has potential..... but what i seriously didnt expect was to find a harry who's more angsty than Canon harry and edward cullen combined wow.... you really surprised me there

Harry's a Scooby now. He's more likely to tell Dummydore and the rest of the Wizarding Word to go hell than became the character you see in the HP books.

This Harry isn't that person. This Harry Potter is more like Xander and the rest of the Sunnydale crowd than anyone from the Wizarding Word.

He's going to have *MAJOR* problems relating to them and they to him.

For example, I don't see this Harry putting up with any of the crap he got in either the books or movies.

There are going to be a *LOT* of folks in the Wizarding Word who are going to end up with the crap beaten out of them, epecially Ron and Draco

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from clei
Review:
Pretty decent writing, decent premise.

The Hellmouth fuzzing out magical location is practically fanon. However I DON'T buy the "Wizarding magic is NEGATED" bit. Canon and Fanon both suggest that Wizarding magic pulls on internal reserves.

Think of the magic around the Hellmouth acting as a cellphone/radar/White Noise jammer.

Trying to use Wizarding magic on a Hellmouth would be like trying to use a flashlight underwater.

The Hellmouth magic would diffuse/cancel out much of Wizarding magic.

Besides, by it's very nature Wizarding magic is one of the weakest forms of magic around anyway.
