Review of chapter "Meeting Cain" from raxadian
Review:
While this story has potential, the fact that includes Harry Potter and SG1 makes me think "Not again”. Letś see how it goes. This is not meant as offense to the story is just that I am a tad tired of stories with Buffy, SG1 and Harry together in the same universe, unless Harry is non magical and the SG1 cast don't even know what a Stargate is and don't use one.

Review:
Going from "magic is real" to "Harry Potter is real" is big jump. Also if the books are based on real events, that would place the last battle with Moldy Shorts in the late eighties at the most, meaning Harry and others would be in their forties by the date Jonathon sugests. Since the books have to be written after the events.

Review:
Data understands kidnapping right? I don't like the way he does things in his exalted position of
a time traveling starship Captain. He learned nothing from Picard! The dialog and crew intro's are well done. The books of fiction were proof that the potter verse is real? I'm looking forward to you working more on this. I'm guessing that the Buffy story is solely a Holo deck construct to keep the number of characters to a minimum and keep the slayer line to Buffy with Willow and Xander as her team. The spell to create the Slayer army was temporary in effectiveness, yes?
Comments from author:
Wow, slow down there! Don't tell my story before I can, lol. Yes, Data understands kidnapping, but as he and his crew has the technology to pluck you from your time-stream and return you there with your memory of it erased, or even stop himself from taking you in the first place, he really doesn't see the inhumanity of such an act. He still has a lot to learn. As to the books of fiction indicating that the Potter-verse is real. . . I must confess that I stole that idea from Wizards of Waverly Place. As to Buffy. . . I'll get there. Patience, grasshopper, and all will be revealed. . . in Time.

Review of chapter "Carrion" from SnakeFox
Review:
Interesting story ^_^ Only a couple of niggles jump out at me, from the first chapter: "Now all the other girls had gone home, no longer safe doing what they were born to do." - Dozens/hundreds of Slayers, worldwide, no longer "safe" being Slayers? I get that this "Cain" killed Faith, and that would've been VERY difficult, but numbers alone would've surely given the mini-Slayers the edge? Seems like a very convenient contrivance to leave Buffy the only Slayer. On the other hand, it's fanfiction within fanfiction, presumably written by the Ensign McClain character, so it's not like it has to be perfect.

Second thing, Data. He was "tagged" by Starfleet Temporal Ops thanks to his general awesomeness, but what does that mean? Was he saved the moment before his death on the Scimitar and brought to the future? Or is this B4, having integrated Data's personality/memory download and lived through the following 500 years? Or, is this just a Data who never died?

Really interested to see where you're taking this.
Comments from author:
You're totally right about the Slayers splitting after the brutal death of their idol and their remaining Watcher. I guess I should have elaborated more on how much they freaked out by the totally inhuman brutality with which their entrails were used for a message, and that they took a vote, with the fear that had spread throughout the camp winning out. . .

As for the background on Data. . . I was planning on expounding upon that a couple of chapters later. Don't worry, I'm building up to it, as it's important to the plot threads that the universes are weaved together with. . .

Thank you so much for reviewing my story! You have no idea what it means to me that someone is actually reading this and cares enough to leave a review.

Review of chapter "Meeting Cain" from Gideon
Review:
Haha! Data as the villain is a great idea, he could really do inhuman very well, and perhaps it will help him understand what humanity is if he comes at it from the other direction. I hope Buffy froze properly, or she will be very confused about now :)
Comments from author:
Hehehe. . . I've got some surprises up my sleeve. And yeah, I love the idea of Data learning more about humanity by exploring the darker side of the human psyche. Thanks for the review!

Review of chapter "Meeting Cain" from CrystalBlaze
Review:
So, not only are we about to have Hermione and probably Buffy pulling a Moriarity (really, just keep Data OUT of the friggin' Holodeck!), but likely interacting.

This is gonna be weird.
Comments from author:
Yep! And there's also another BTVS character I'm considering giving sentience to, so look for little hints and signals as to who it might be!

Thanks for the review, btw!

Is your argument that the programs needed to make Buffy or Hermione "accurate" have given them extra powers of autonomy and perception? I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

EDIT: Um, yeah. I made the extrapolation based on having seen those episodes. The difference is did they upgrade the program on request/beyond safeties or was it the AI of the computer doing the extrapolation based on its definition of "magic." Thanks for sharing, and I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this.
Comments from author:
I don't want to give too much away, but here's a hint: check out the episodes about Professor Moriarty on Star Trek: TNG.

EDIT: Holy crap! You've just given me a great idea! Thanks, VillageOrchid!

What its not something Barclay did? If Data is a captain does this mean Voyger has returned and the've learned how to mass produce mobile holo emitters?
Comments from author:
Dang. I just knew there had to be somebody out there who was at least half as nerdy as I am. I will render your last two questions moot by hinting at the classification and technologies of the USS Relativity. As to your first, I was toying with Ensign McClain being somehow related to Barclay, as he is both brilliant but is just smart enough to get him and the entire universe in trouble when it comes to his Holodeck "alone-time". . .
