Very good start to this story. This is the Wesley I always loved. And to see him in the Wizarding world would be something truly awesome. But you haven't updated since August. Is this story abandoned already? Or will you be updating sometime soon? Please let us know one way or the other. This story has too much potential to just let it die with a whimper.

Okay, you've got my attention. This has the potential to be freaking awesome! Bad ass Wesley, Harry a year pre-Hogwarts, all ingredients in an amazing recipe. Wonder what all Wes might find about James, if he finds anything. It'll be interesting to know if Dumbledore and the ministry are going to try and keep the truth (and therefore everything about magic) secret from Wes. Oh, will Wes even let Harry go to Hogwarts? This has so much potential, update soon. Please!

Losing Connor and being told to never return to the Hotel
Angel locked in box under the ocean
Wes sleeping with Lilah/Justine in closet
Recovering Angel from the Ocean
Giving Angel all the info he found on Cordelia's disappearance

It's Pre:
Cordelia's return
The Beast blocking out the Sun
Jasmine's birth

Nearly a year before the Hogwarts letter? Fun. He can use his detective skills to find out more, or at least realize that there's something strange going on. I wonder if the Council knows about the wizarding world? So this is Wesley after getting his throat cut? Maybe after retrieving Angel from bottom of the ocean, then not rejoining the team? Badass Wesley would be perfect as a guardian for HP.
He may not be able to use a wand, but he can be very dangerous when he wants to be.

Really looking forward to the next chapter of this and, honestly, the rest of the story. The idea of a disgruntled and rough around the edges Wesley taking care of Harry leads to so many possabilities. Since there seems to be a full year before Hogwarts, there will be some changes I imagine. Also the bit about Wesley trying to find James Potters friends could always bump the time table up a bit. Either way, good job.
