very interesting and from an eye for an eye perspective justified
however subsequent seasons have shown that the Angels at this point will bend over backwards to keep their Apocalypse on track including bringing the brothers back from the dead multiple times (a season 4 or 5 ep indicates that other hunters have killed them more then a few times)
That said at the present time Sam has grown up a bit (letting a kitsune that was killing drug dealers to feed their brains to her ill son go free) while dean is still the same (tracking down said kitsune and killing her)

I guess that means that Buffy and Xander will get a chance to kill them multiple times, then. ;-)

Perhaps in the 3rd installment Willow and the rest of the coven can confront Sam and Dean in the afterlife and they can learn about their mistakes. I agree with your reason for not watching the series as it was one of the reasons I never got into it. With that in mind, maybe more of their victims, who could have otherwise have been saved if not for their kill first ask questions never attitude, can confront them as well.

Well, unless my muse inspires me to write another chapter, I'm not planning on any more stories in this 'verse.
Yeah. And if those two hunters knew they had killed a completely innocent coven, as well as a witch who had been instrumental in saving the world, several times as a matter of fact, well... They'd probably be kind of upset as well. Maybe.
Comments from author:
Based on the first couple seasons of Supernatural which I watched, I don't think that either of them would ever believe that there is such a thing as an innocent witch or an innocent coven. Pretty much every episode, they rode into town, searched for the local supernatural element and then tried their best to kill it.
Although, learning that they killed someone who helped save the world, multiple times, would probably make them feel a little bit guilty.
If they were still alive.

Seems about right. And considering that Sam had yellow eyes when Buffy killed him, she shouldn't have any nightmares about it. As an added bonus, no Angelic Apocalypse...right?

Yep, to everything you said. ;-)
And even if Buffy did realize that those two were human, I think that it wouldn't bother her all that much, since she did take out the Terakan assassin who was impersonating a police officer in Season Two, and she appeared to be completely human.
